Pick Your Team Gold Coast Titans v NZ Warriors - [Round 7, 2026]

I think he has been below his normal so far this year. Overall he is solid with no outstanding performances or absolute shockers. Try not to ride stats though, they barely tell half the story
Pomps might become an even better centre with a weapon like AKP outside him, has a good draw and pass, I'd back him to get Lofi into space for some long range breaks.

Gold Coast will come to Go Media on a high after wiping the floor with the eels yesterday. Attack with pace in their game. So, we need pace to counter

1. TT
2. DWZ
3. Ali
4. RTS
5. AKP
6. CHT
7. Boyd
8. JFH
9. Egan
10. Ford
11. Capewell
12. Laban
13. Clarke

14. Healey
15. Demi
16. Leka
17. Niukore (assuming TSS is out)
18. CNK
20.. Gannon

Pompey still suspended, TSS may have a week off with that hamstring, EIT back to cup to get a run with Gannon back on the bench

that's probably our best bench moving forward.

Love the team but we don’t need pace to counter to win, we just need our forwards to steamroll theirs again

What's with everyone's short term memories. Roger had a whole season of struggling at centre but after one game lock him in there?

Get what you are saying but after match he said he has made a mental shift to doing his own job and not trying to save the team.

Coach Webster was in my Central Auckland design showroom right now with his wife and child — looks like they’re gearing up for a big home renovation, and they’re also expecting their second child. I know his home address too now, and of course, we’ll keep everything completely confidential!

I welcomed him in and congratulated him on the win — he was genuinely stoked. He mentioned that during the debrief, the players were over the moon and especially happy for the fans who’ve stuck with them through that tough run.

I did cheekily ask if we could keep the same team and combinations this weekend. He laughed and said, “you liked that, did ya? We’ll see.” His wife Emily jumped in and said, “don’t worry, he doesn’t give much away,” but she agreed with me — which was good!

I'm glad you said it and he took it in stride.

I saw him at a Parnell restaurant a month or so back and just gave him a quick 'love what you're doing over there' and 'the fans appreciate having you around'. I didn't want to disturb him too much as he was out for a family dinner, but he was a very nice fella and you can tell that he gets a lot of job satisfaction out of coaching this team.

Thanks Dippa.Love that sort of real life insight.

Although fans and media will say that it'll be Warriors 13+, it is VIP that we keep the momenteum going and defeat the Titans at home! In theory we have 3 'easy' games - Titans, Parra and Dolphins and then ... Magic Rounds vs Broncos!!!!

Titans are murdering the Eels right now.

It would not surprise me to see a changed Warriors side get a hiding from them. Not being negative, just NRL reality.

Hopefully we roll out the same side.
I was just reading through before making a similar comment.

Our unfancied team just ended a 12 year losing streak in style.
The Titans who are another unfancied team just ended a 10 year loosing streak in style.
The Titans are also on a bye the week after they play us so they will be looking for a win so they can enjoy the week off.
They also have a bit of X factor and they won't be easy

I hope we get to see the same team as last week. Don't change a winning combination. Let the guys play together for a few games and reinforce those combinations

Fox sports reporting Boyd may have a hamstring strain?
Boyd didn't seem to be hobbling around and didn't go off the field in the 2nd half as TSS did. So if he does have tightness, it's probably what Douehi had in the lead up to our game. I don't think there's an issue here. They don't even mention his injury in the NRL physio report (not to say this is definitive that there is nothing to worry about):
