Apparently their cap is 2.1million GBP which means Clearly would take up just under half of the teams cap. Surely this is BS but it was reported for NRL on nine
And I’m pretty sure it’s Hull FC
Teams can have one marquee player that is shown as 150k GBP on the cap (or something similar cant recall sorry) and can be paid anything the club can afford.
A few of the Aust Podcasts still talking about Joey Manu returning to RL ... seems to be Roosters bound if he was to come back.

I think this current iteration of this club is unlikely to tie up a large amount of cash in a player who has most of his career behind him. I suppose the parallel you could argue with is our resigning of RTS who signed with the club at a similar age. Manu probably has 3 good years as a centre...hmm maybe I'm talking myself around... A strong defender and ball runner at centre does sound nice, it might make having a snowflake like AKP on the outside more palatable. They could compliment each others game if Manu would occasionally pass the ball.

Until a coach creates a new blueprint to best utilise his build.
With some players now going full 80 or playing big minutes there is surely an opportunity to use interchanges in a new way to create a ‘power play’ using this type of player - probably on the fringes in attack. I thought he might be a recruitment target for us considering the NAS chatter pre season.
