Maybe. Years of the crap you get thrown at you from those on the right on here might trigger some of that.

Honestly though, I'd much rather there wasn't a complete and utter lunatic backed by rich oligarchs spinning out of control.

Personally I'd much rather be wrong than seeing what some of us have been saying all along come to very scary fruition.

Tit for tat politics never gets anywhere though. Also hard to assume how things would be with the other in charge- truth is the bar was extremely low with both candidates and yes while Trumps doing some crazy shit right now he’s the result of the pendulum swinging back the other way (as it always does) it’s seemingly much quicker and more dramatic this time around but will naturally swing back the other way soon enough- just gotta hope the other side has a decent option this time around or we are probably in for more of the same

Yeah, I've mentioned a few times, the Democrats are hardly remotely centrist themselves, just a softer version of the same thing. However, Trump and the Republicans aren't even pretending now, they're heading in an extreme direction that may see changes, along with some pretty big world stuff (climate change, ai, fossil fuel dependency) all coming to a head.....unique times that requires strong leadership, and the world's going to look pretty different out the end of this, which may not be in my lifetime (the combination of those things).

Canada at least has shown the way for now, certainly for the smaller players like us Matiu.....just hope someone's listening.
