Agreed, the whole Leka must be starting because of xyz try/run is bit tiring.

He'll get there over time. But Capewell and Laban are the obvious starters for the time being for their abilities to do the core roles of an edge backrower well.
I really don't like Leka starting. I'm not sure that he does either.
He has so much impact coming on later for a burst of Leka doing Leka things. I get that going forward we need him to perform for much longer periods but I think he is going to need work to get him there.
He's far from being the finished article and I think we may risk doing actual harm putting too much pressure on him too early

Look at Finefuiaki. Another young powerhouse 21 yo Tongan backrower. Lekas better than this guy, but atm Finefuiaki is the form backrower of the comp, because he just gets involved and runs hard.
Leka’s so much more than just a impact forward who comes on and works his magic every now and then.

Webby and the halves need to use him better, and stop mucking him around positionaly.

This game feels a bit like to much going on, just got into our own hype and making so may unnecessary changes to the team. Only change should have been metcalf
I tend to agree …
Metcalfe for Hanson/Cht looked good.
Barney back but at expense of demetric looked ok-ish.

Ali dropped for Taine in and the cnk shuffle looked like fans were picking the team …

admittedly I thought if we’re going to try something funky the tigers were a good team to try something… but Tigers were really good… almost nothing to get upset with the ref.

And we had a night where not every pass stuck, Roger wasn’t so urgent, dallin didn’t score from every half chance, ford drops a couple… maybe a good game for Ali to miss. I still think he’s one of our two best fit centres and he should be left to develop.

Barney and Rog thinking about new contracts, Pompey with a new baby?,… overall just Too Much going on off and on the field
.

But no injuries? So a week of learning and take it out on the sharks next week
