Boys look well drilled with possession.
No standouts so far but everyone gelling and making good decisions.
Good defensive unit too.
Marsh at hooker looks like a real prospect. Just does everything really well.
The backs look like they could run rampant if we keep getting front foot ball.

I don't think I have seen Newcastle complete a set all game. Glad we are running up a score now, but Knight's handling is abysmal!

Hansen playing a Cam Murray type role at 13.
Was he captain at one point.
He questioned a decision as if he was captain.

Another dominant win. Averaging 46-16 scoreline across their three wins.

This is also with playing 6 SG eligible players in their line up: Ratcliffe, Lemana, Laban, Hanson, Sula, Afoa.

And, there’s 9 athletes eligible for jersey Flegg playing cup this weekend; Pasikala, Putoko, Thompson, Cleary, Tuipolotu-Vea, Neal, Sikuvea, Auloa and laumalili.

Once our first graders in Mitch, Metcalf, Charnze, Chanel, Kurt, Pompey all return in the next month or so, this will push the likes of laumalili, Thompson, pasikala, Neal, and even potentially Cleary all back to jersey Flegg.

Despite the Harold Matts & sg ball struggling, the depth across the club is immense and the elite athletes are playing up a grade ( or 3 in Neal’s case, he’s SG Ball eligible), against older guys & holding their own. Very, very exciting for the next few years to see these athletes develop into first graders.

The depth of the SG ball side is really being tested. If those SG ball guys you mentioned playing Flegg pushed down, I think that side does a lot better. A couple key injuries too. Squad members 30 - 40 are getting a lot of run in SG ball.

The Harold Matts side has been more of a disappointment imo. Not able to close out tight games. A lot of talent in that team. Growing pains for Albert Vete as a new coach maybe. Done a good job developing Chris Sa'u, looks a great talent, played every game and Harold Matts eligible next year (following the likes of Lemana). Also been a breakout season for Kaian Olsen.

Maybe not a standout, but Harry tuafiafi iutoi (HTI) looked pretty good. Especially his runs out of our own 20.
No idea of his speed, but he has decent finishing and tackle breaking…his D looks okay from the last few games I’ve watched too! What a gluttony we have of potential outside backs coming through!!

Come from nowhere last year too. His final handful of games last year really put himself on the radar of Webby and co I think. Definitely a first grade prospect.

Raph Sio nowhere to be seen as a result.

Can we get HTI as a tag on here?

Second fastest in the club imo, behind Akp

They don’t really have the same excuse as SG ball as their players aren’t allowed to play up a grade, so they’ve got their squad but simply aren’t performing. A lot of expectation going back to back, but there’s no way around it it’s been a disappointing year for them

Norris back to the wing and pasikala to centre. Norris in to score with a sweet blindside play. Needs a go in cup this kid, great footy iq

This is a good tigers team, three tries on the trot from poor discipline. The last try an error from lemana in goal gifts the tigers five-eighth a try from good kick pressure. 10-14 tigers. 10 minutes from oranges

Was Mt.Smart closed for training this week or something? Ive watched our NRL, Cup, SG Ball and Flegg all getting absolutely outclassed by the Tigers this weekend. I missed Harold Matts get spanked too. Yes, Cup won but that was a very lucky escape.
All grades look totally off the boil. Woeful handling, ineffective tackling, horror discipline, and lots of lacklustre efforts across all grades, ie. noone chasing Wests grubber.
I know our club has moved away from having big forwards, but I reckon we need to hire some 130kg+ props from a local union team to run at us while we defend our goaline all week. If we fail to complete a set, back to the props smashing us on our line.
Really disappointing week as a Warriors fan.

30-36 tigers. Full time. Let in tries in bunches in the last 15 of each half. Big games from Gordon and kahu. Tigers halves much better then poor old Harrison and joseph.
