I first saw him in regional age groups. He led Canterbury over Auckland and was a machine. Kayliss Faitialifa and Rodney Tuipolotu-Vea were opposing him and looked the business also . All three coming along nicely especially considering they are all still very young
He’s also got consistently good line speed too and is regularly initiating contact. Taken his game to another level this year, with a couple more years of fg and his current trajectory the lure of 30k to play for qld could come into his calculations. I’d hate to see it though

Still early days, and I think one of the things that 'detracts' from his game is that hes not super flashy or makes huge hits, so I feel his value may get over looked by a lot of Australian pundits but if he continues to trend upwards and ends up with 130m+ off the bench in 45 minutes etc and do that consistently, who knows.
If TSS considers himself a Queenslander then im happy for him to be picked, but I dunno, watching Nikora running around for Queensland on Wednesday didnt seem right haha

Amazing what laying off the corned beef and pies will do for you (worked for me anyway, don't miss pies but still have dreams about fried corned beef and onions).
He is a lot like Jazz without the errors and hand on the ball or leg pull penalties. Otherwise they are both similarly awkward to put a dominant tackle on.
I see TSS hit and spin or turn his back a lot, to me he looks like he is practising his arms free second phase game without the ill discipline of compulsively popping the pill. I look forward to the day he is allowed to play a little ball.
I'll put my hand up as last year I though TSS needed a year (2026) to further develop in NSW Cup - I was wrong , he is going well in 1st grade - good on him!
