Great games from the young guys.

Laban got brought on and off for interchanges and injuries. So it would have been hard to get any rhythm. He got some good minutes and some good work.

Roache played big minutes. Good service and a lot of work.

Tuaupiki had a big game. I know there was a mistake early. I missed the kick off so that doesn't count. Plus he redeemed himself. When he has been brought up recently he has threatened to make a break. Had some good runs today. The try was well deserved.

Leiataua did some good work. Good to see him get over the line.

Are there any other romantically optimistic tragics among us taking heart from some of the youthful displays of other teams this round and just ever so slightly believe that we can turn the magic round in its head, do the unthinkable and win the game ? ……………, (cue the sound of crickets)

… you can hear the crickets..’ We are the power we are the speed ….’
Incredible win!

All I had was hope and optimism without evidence

That. THAT!!!! Is the effort required to be a successful team. Having incumbents out was a great adversity to tackle and the approach was finally one where nobody relied on somebody else to do the heavy lifting. Congratulations Warriors and supporters.

What a milestone for the season.

Taine was incredible. So composed & clutch when it mattered.
Montoya and Dallin error free, plenty of tough work out of our half.
Ali showed he’s an nrl centre, very dynamic & good defensively.
Pompey is a better centre than RTS, for now. He’s very experienced & makes great defensive reads.
Charnze was all effort & had some class about him at 6.
Best game I’ve seen of TMM, great kicking, laid of 3 tries.
Barnett plays origin.
And jazz is back baby!

We were a completely different team without Shaun. We’re better with him, but we need to unlock that left edge & without SJ we are far less predictable & go down both edges. Will welcome SJ back with open arms but we’ve just shown we can attack both edges, TMM needs more ball & offers a heck of a lot when given the opportunity. SJ needs to be the dominant half, but not 90/10, and give some of the attack to TMM.

Huge win for the morale of club & fans ❤️
