Politics Donald Trump

Haha, yeah Shane Gillis does a pretty good Trump, the speed dating skit from a couple years back is hilarious (some naughty words for those with sensitive sensibilities or children in ear shot 😅)

Just to explain why I, and many others in Merka think Trump will be wearing an orange jump suit soon.

Jack Smith has a classified documents grand jury going in Washington DC as well as the one he had in Florida.

That dipstick woman judge Trump organized in Florida didn't know about it at first, and seemed pissed off about it.

So that indicates a crime that was committed in Washington DC, not at Mar A Logo, and that it involved classified documents,

Smith filed a motion in Court, I think in Florida, saying something like there is no doubt Trump took the documents, on purpose, and stored them illegally.

He said the question is what else he did with them, and why?

The filing indicated he has evidence of what Trump did, and why.

Pundits are pointing to the meeting with Lavrov, the Russian Foreign minister, and the Russian Ambassador in the White House, not long after Trump became POTUS.

If people like Julia Ioffe (The Russian/Merkin journalist) and Noel Casler (Trumps former stage manager on the Apprentice) are well aware of the involvement between Trump and the Russian mafia, then the FBI and the CIA will be as well and have been for a very long time.

My guess is somebody has flipped.

With the American system, plea deals, etc, pleading guilty is just taking the lowest risk path available, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re guilty.

Daft system isn’t it, which has been proven to send many innocent people to jail.
Misdemeanors maybe but more serious matters? You may settle on a lesser plea in a quid pro quo deal but you either have no way to prove you are innocent or the weight of evidence proves you're highly likely to be proven guilty to plead guilty to those charges imo.
But you're right, their system sux for poor people who haven't got the means to fight it, or the resource to build a case if innocent.
She plead guilty cos she is - but probably has some out if any other cases win or get chucked out.

Agree she’s guilty but guarantee she’s been given a really soft sentence to set a president so they can get the big fish.

She should have set a better president, disappointing.
I know 'president' was an auto-spell mistake but it's also maybe a Freudian slip 😆 if you are a Trump supporter?
Or is it irony? Or a malapropism? Pray tell me which it is Bruce...I'm leaning towards ironic but could also be a mixed metaphor perhaps?

Trumps frucked hey.

Two Lawyers now cooperating witnesses for the prosecution. Both convicted. Therefore there is nowhere for Trump and Giuliani to go on this one now.

This fool has a felony conviction which in most cases is automatic disbarment, given these are serious crimes and I cannot see him keeping his career after being done for a conspiracy to defraud an election.

These two, both 'professionals' giving evidence against Trump rules out the he said she said one on one factor in the case.

sure is quiet around here without bruce, this one would give him a conniption.

Remember Bizarro World in the DC comics where everything was opposite to our world?

Not sure but no country should have open borders and just be letting people in willy nilly. Especially in the u.s where the fringes on both sides of the political isle are becoming more radical and vocal
You do realise that texas, california and new mexico were all part of mexico till the greedy mothers in the us (as if they didn't have enough land) annexed them off and claimed them through warfare?
Why?, the smell of oil of course. Plus, what they want they take no matter who was there first. But hey, force them back over your imposed 'border'.
Happened about the same time the colonisers were trying to do the same here so not that long ago really ...

I’ve been following the New York civil trial where the judge has already ruled Trump overstated the value of his portfolio (ooh err Missus!) to get favourable loans. Trumps son and daughter were on the stand during the prosecution case and claimed they ‘didn’t recall’ when asked a serious question. Trump himself ranted and rambled.

Today Trump’s son appears to be going through a marketing brochure of properties, a document the judge has described as stupid.

They have no evidence, the plaintiff has lots. Trump is going to lose badly imho.
