**ANNOUNCEMENT***

I have created the poll about the major bye rounds. It is only open 5 days so please vote quickly. Voting open to only the registered members of both leagues.

This rule looks different this year: (last year just the major bye rounds had 13 players)

- Classic: The SOO (Big) Bye Round scoring will apply to Rounds 12, 13, 15, 16, 18 & 19, where the top 13 player scores (subject to auto-emergency placement) will combine for user's round total.

Keep it the same as last year
Please vote in the poll though? I hope you did. You are welcome to lobby for your view in the thread though to influence voting and that would be a good process as it would inform people of what the considerations are. Do be tolerant though if someone expresses a counter opinion (not saying that directly to you but to everyone).

1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Jake Averillo 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Selwyn Cobbo 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Daniel Saifiti 9. Kurt Donoghoe 10. Tom Flegler 11. Connelly Lemuelu 12. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 13. Tom Gilbert. Interchange: 14. Trai Fuller 15. Felise Kaufusi 16. Morgan Knowles 17. Francis Molo

Jeremy Marshall-King is expected to miss the first six weeks after knee surgery. With Max Plath (ACL) out for the first month, expect Kurt Donoghoe to start at hooker.

There are plenty of moving parts in this side. The position to watch is fullback with excitement machines Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Trai Fuller vying for the spot. Hammer, who is right for round one despite missing off-season Tests due to a knee injury, will play centre if Fuller wins the No. 1 spot.

Representative forwards Daniel Saifiti (shoulder) and Tom Gilbert (pectoral/shoulder) suffered season-ending injuries in 2025 but are on track for round one and could slot straight back into the starting side. It’s a different story for Jack Bostock (ACL/MCL), who is aiming to return in round eight. Tom Flegler is on track for a miracle comeback from a shoulder injury after almost two seasons out. Francis Molo (fractured eye socket) is expected to be fit after an injury in the Pacific Championships.
