Politics đꤎ Donald Trump

See, even now you are concerned for my well being with your caring, feminine energy.
Absolutely, it’s a strength of mine to consider other people of which I’ve come to realise is a strength when reading garbage posted from people like yourself and people alike. If that’s a feminine trait, it’s no wonder women are out performing men around the world

Huh? Aren’t woman a disadvantaged group we need to protect?

Why do we need a Ministry of Woman?

Not sure? You’re telling the story. An article from last year but women certainly are doing better than men in many metrics. I’m sure someone will dispute the platform and whether it has any legitimacy

It's like playing whack a mole ain't it?

You hammer one another pops up.

Being compared to women ain't an insult, unless you have a mental mono brow.

I think it was likely meant an insult, but I agree it’s more of a compliment. I know exactly who I am and very comfortable in my own skin. I think that’s a big problem with some that need to follow podcasts or lean towards authoritarianism because they need people to tell them how they should be living their lives

See a national MP had a rock thrown through his car window this week, after the Peters vandalism.

Bollocks???

Protests in Australia, the police absolutely condemned the left protesters for their violent behavior.

There are plenty of examples for both sides of the spectrum. As I say, pretending it's one side being violent is nonsense

I see the corrupt bastard is asking the DoJ to pay him over $200m compo for the trials he was put through prior to being voted in again. Seeing as his former personal lawyer Todd Blanche works at the DoJ nowadays I can see Trump getting it.

Now, money is needed for the abortion of an extension being built at the White House on Trump’s orders. Nobody is quite sure who is going to pay for it. I’ll have a complete stab in the dark and say Trump will fund it from money he rinses from the DoJ,, but claiming it’s his benevolent nature. To quote a former poster, just saying

It’s daft to say sections of the population are different because the impulse is rooted in psychology, not ideology.

Reality is violence and aggression are pretty human last resort evolutionary responses and are as universal as feeling fear, anger or perceived injustice.

The key is not getting people on either side to the last resort stage (polarisation, exclusion, cancelling, shutting down free speech, etc)

It's almost like that's being encouraged though, do you think it is?
Lots of ways to look at this.

If govts do what they are elected to do the media need to tone it down; if the govt is pushing ideological things it was unelected then that’s where the pushback should be.

Sometimes govt need to make unpopular decisions like combatting recession or inflation (eg the strikes today due to our fiscal position). sometimes it’s valid for there to be disharmony.

It’s when every and any decision by the govt is looked at as nefarious and balance is lost that we get issues.

I find Trump a fascinating example. The media jump on anything and everything he does including stuff he was elected on. Now when he extends decisions into ideological stuff people are divided. His supports say he’s always picked on and ignore it. The opposition are worked into a rabid frenzy.

We need balance and calmness on the everyday decisions that we shouldn’t fret over as that sets the tone for the polarisation, doesn’t it?
