I am not taking Bromwich under any circumstances. By the time I started watching in 2018 his peak was behind him and he had become a pay cheque player. I am in it to win it this year (Mr B be warned) but also have pet players and pet hates.

That’s harsh on bromwhich- best prop of his generation imho.
I find in these games though, how a player ended their career has a big impact on the general consensus.

In all honesty I can myself getting too invested in which players should and shouldn't be included in the top 50 list so I am going to stay out of it and just deal with whatever the final list is.
One thing I will say though is that there needs to be a kind of even spread of players for different positions.
Not much good having 20 halves and 30 all other positions etc (not saying that will happen but will good to have an even spread for each position)

Any other comments on the list of additions - or I will nominate it to Tajhay. I realised today we have visited this topic before as we came up with a wildcard rule. However I think the new idea as better and avoids issues/more up front.

The ideal goal was to add players who were better than Brent Tate and then evaluate if that is too many? I think we might to want to add some of those hookers you listed as well .
Maybe we could come at it from that angle first
But off the top of my head 20 including the extra hookers and maybe one or two above twenty so the cut off isn't arbitrary.
What do you think feels right ? or maybe if you or someone can go through the list of currently 24 extras and say which ones are better than Tate?

Are we adding to the list to get to 70-80? If so then does it matter if they’re better than Tate? Plenty are better btw
