I tell you what, the Roosters have some absolute superstars and can be superb, but man they can make an error and play poorly.

Best case scenario is Roosters win and Penny lose, and we play Roosters and grind them down. We have the game to beat them imo, but I'm less confident of our chances against Penrith

I dunno man. I don't think we can outscore the Roosters either. I think we could at least stay with the Panthers

Roosters have lost to Eels recently, and we're only up 10-6 at ht against this poor Bunnies outfit.

When Roosters are on, they'll beat anyone. But when you put pressure on them I think they tend to struggle. They don't like the grind, similar to the Broncos. Great attacking teams but leave a lot to be exploited

yeah but they can turn the switch like that...

26-2 now.. they are rolling..

Against a man in the bin, vs the 14th placed team...

Again, they have enough strike power to win the comp, one of the most exciting teams with crazy strike power. If - and it's a big if the way we've played the last few weeks - we play to the best of our ability and strangle them, were a chance.
Thing is, if we could pick the right team (my selections obviously!) and play to our best I honestly thought we might be a real chance in this finals series. There are really no stand out teams that look unbeatable. Raiders have been awesome this year but we stuck with them last game, storm look off and particularly if no Hughes, Sharks.... Well are the Sharks. Dogs have Burtons boot to get them out of trouble but have looked poor against top 8 sides, Penrith aren't the juggernaut they have been in previous seasons, roosters as you say can be hot and cold. And Broncos have a soft underbelly.

Not saying we would definitely beat any of those sides but it's probably one of our best chances to do something that we will potentially get for a while. That's my frustration, we aren't playing our best team IMO and we are playing poorly with this big opportunity in front of us

So in dragons game Feagai makes contact with Alamoti under the high ball, though less than what CNK had to deal with last night and its a penalty on field. Drags challenge it, and bunker upholds the decision. Do the NRL understand why fans are so bloody frustrated. From one game to the next the rules are applied differently for each team, even with video technology.

Same with at least one of the Broncos tries on Thursday. Went up looking at potential knock ons, and were ruled inconclusive and went in favour of the on field call which favoured the Broncos, unlike us the week before.

Would love to see some sort of consistency applied to all teams.

The fact our ref knew it was high but didn’t have the balls to call instead went to the bunker who cleared it is infuriating

We have two chances.

Little and none
