General Finals Week 1 Ticketing Process

Its hard but not impossible - i had friends who got tickets in the south stand on the general sale.

Might be a good idea to purchase a non ticketed membership this week though. Gets you a slightly later pre sale opportunity before the general onsale
From memory, in 2023 the non ticketed members got a generic code that was shared on the forum quite quickly. Something like "Warriors2023"
It was definitely different to the "AAN code" that ticketed members get
Looking at the Raiders comms, it may be the same this time around

Ticketed members can purchase a maximum of 8 tickets per AAN code.
Non-ticketed members can purchase a maximum of 8 tickets per transaction via the non-ticketed member co

Are all season members supposed to have received an email from club re finals tickets early purchase? We have 4 season tkts in our whanau and not heard anything from club as yet
Just a generic email from the Warriors members coordinator mentioning the AAN code will be distributed this Friday.

AAN cost is a unique code given to each member that you enter into the ticketing platform when pre sales opens

If you don’t receive the email that they send before each home game setting out details for the game then you probably won’t get the email members are talking about as you have at sometime unsubscribed from member’s emails

Hah, yeah kinda amazing how unwinning we feel even though we guaranteed ourselves a home final with a game in the bag!

Been a strange old year psychologically 😅 Even if I miss out on finals this year, glad I got the finals experience couple of years back with that SJ hero moment, and have at least already seen them win at Mt Smart against Dragons a few weeks back (though didn't feel like a win somehow after all said and done hah)

NRL 2025 Finals Schedule: Week 1 Match-Ups, Fixture Dates, Live Ladder

The NRL is navigating a complex finals schedule with multiple permutations to play out in the final round, with the All Blacks threatening to derail its fixtures plan.

The NRL is facing a choice between taking on the All Blacks or the fury of the Canberra Raiders as they prepare for a final round headache with up to 10 teams still in contention for the top eight.

Head office has been working feverishly behind the scenes to pencil in a schedule for the opening weekend of the finals, but their hands are tied until the contenders are whittled down to the eight teams destined to play in the post-season.

In the meantime, they have been speaking to clubs in contention and working on a potential schedule taking into account turnarounds and schedule conflicts involving rival codes.

Melbourne is expected to open the finals on Friday night even though there is every chance there may be an AFL final scheduled for the MCG, which is across the road from AAMI Park.

The Storm’s opening final against the Bulldogs is already locked in given their positions will not change regardless of weekend results.

Canberra has already secured the minor premiership but it is understood it is haggling with the NRL over when it will play over the weekend.

The Raiders would prefer to play on Sunday because that would give them seven days to prepare for the finals.

That could cause an issue for the NRL given there is every chance the Warriors will secure a home game and would prefer to avoid a clash with the All Blacks, who play in Wellington on Saturday afternoon.

The All Blacks game is scheduled for 7.05pm local time in NZ – 5.05pm (AEST) and has the potential to eat into rugby league’s audience across the Tasman.

The NRL has traditionally played one of the elimination finals on Sunday afternoon but the Raiders are of the belief that as the minor premiers, they should be given their preference.

It adds another layer to an intriguing final round with at least three clubs fighting for finals survival.

Since when do the raiders get to call the shots. The NRL shouldn’t worry about the ABs. Pubs in New Zealand will be annoyed having to split the tvs but the crowd won’t be affected and the home viewer is used to watching one live and then the other on demand - it’s not 2003 anymore.

I think its fair play for the raiders - they did win the minor prem so good on them trying to leverage that.

I think the nrl should worry about it. This is one of the biggest rugby tests in NZ in years, to compete with one of the biggest nrl games in nz in years. It would be silly to schedule them at the same time. Most avid sport watches will be watching both games & it would affect both revenues, but the all blacks is already locked in. If you can move a game & double your revenue, you’ll do that

Not so much that they get to call the shots, but they are playing this Sunday and the Broncos played Thursday.
So if NRL don't give them a Sunday game, they will be playing with a 6 day turnaround (after travelling) vs Broncos 9 day turnaround.
Pretty fair. And i think the "we are minor premiers" is just trying to give their fair argument more weight.

In my opinion, the Warriors won’t be kicking off at the same time as the All Blacks.
It’s about ratings and advertising dollars. A Saturday night All Blacks test locks down New Zealand’s biggest TV audience, leaving little room for anything else.
That’s why the Warriors’ home final will almost certainly be shifted to either to Saturday afternoon or Sunday.
I think that's what might happen.

They might shift the Saturday slot to 5pm NZT 3pm AEST - which is still a decent sports watching slot on Australian TV (although not primetime)

or give us the Sunday

I think Raiders being minor prems and that turnaround might have a fair bit of leverage.

double what revenue? sky sports nz pay for the whole finals package in advance, it does not go up down or sideways depending on 1) the warriors making the finals, 2) anything else is on in their timeslot.

it's a drop in the bucket compared to the foxtel revenue who don't even have the rugby rights anymore and that and ch 9 are the broadcast partners they care about.

The gate takings at mt smart won't be affected as games not in auckland.
