More than reasonable for you to share again. Tbh I wasn't actually aware of this, although that was more because of my own ignorance than lack of information, so glad to know that if I'm sharing anything significant to do that moving forward.

Always good to be reminded!
To be fair it used to be more prominent before the Turks on this particular thread.perhaps we could get the pop up warning before posting activated on the thread @tajhay ?

Have always stated that if authorities request information it will be provided. The onus is on individuals to understand that they are responsible for what they are posting and to understand the potential repercussions are very real as per many cases in the past, especially on a thread such as this. Its not hard to protect yourselves by posting link rather than copying and pasting content, where it can be deemed that its your opinion (especially if the source info is edited/deleted).
It’s crack up how some are so salty about a simple request lol

Just admit you don’t know how to copy and paste ya dinosaurs 😂😂😂

The Smith stuff now looks like cops just being cops and wanting to beat the story through the media, which is exactly why they would have approached him so publicly at the airport without intending to arrest in the first place - i was ready to believe there was more to this, but come on, it's barely anything:

Much worse in my opinion are the everyday conflicts of interest we see between club staff, player agents and nrl media ... pretty sure if the police poked around in that they'd be able to lay a litany of charges

Interesting point made about is Journalists breaking news about players playing/not playing (recent example of the Panthers potentially resting players effecting the betting on the game) any different from a player chatting to a mate in terms of providing information?

Former NRL player sentenced to prison

He was charged with charges relating to rifle possession and drugs.

Zero Tackle

Former NRL player Chris Sandow has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty in court to a string of offences.

Per a News Corp report, Sandow faced Ipswich Magistrates Court on Friday and pled guilty to charges relating to carrying a weapon in public, possessing explosives, assaulting and obstructing police officers, and willful damage.

Per the report, the court heard that Sandow threw rocks at cars passing by a road in Riverview in March, damaging two vehicles.

Police then located Sandow with a rifle, a large hunting-style knife, ammunition and methamphetamine. He is then understood to have resisted arrest.

Sandow already had an 15-month suspended sentence on his record and that has now been activated to go with a fresh 12-month sentence.

Sandow's parole eligibility date is set for March 3 next year however given he has already served time while waiting for sentencing.

Sandow's lawyer Paddy O'Donnell said his client apologised and would take responsibility for his actions.

A former halfback and five-eighth, the now 36-year-old played for both the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Parramatta Eels in the NRL between 2008 and 2015, playing 159 games.

He then moved to the Warrington Wolves, playing 31 games across two years before ending his career in 2016.

The talented Indigenous player has had previous issues with the law dating back as far as 2017 when he was charged with a public nuisance offence.

Last year, he was charged with obstructing police after being disqualified from driving and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid community services.

Sandow is a former Dally M Rookie of the Year and won the Parramatta Eels' player of the season in 2014.
