I didn't think our first win would come so soon. Their effort again was 100%.

Brake amazing except that dropped bomb.
Ikenasio was a beast this week on D.
Forwards did their job.

I think Jones needs to work on her fitness. I know it's hard when you have a full time job too, but she could be really special if she had a motor. Curtain needs to go to the forwards.

Brake plays like an Ethan Strange, running 6 role. That way she gets more ball rather than hunting for it.

There were two occasions in the game today where a key tackle had to be made, or else it was try time against us. On both occasions Apii saw this, and then also realised she was the best placed to do the mahi and she absolutely nailed both. Stopped the threat in its tracks; key fullback responsibility. She was much better today than last week (other than when she let a loose ball roll between her legs into the in-goal.) Apii's experience is just what they need at the back. The development of the whole team's defence in the space of a week is really promising. Keeping the oppositions scoreless underlined that.

Captain led by example again.

The left edge came back with a vengeance this week,nice to see them combine and put young Peyton over.

The express speed of Brake and Ikenasio was proving a handful for Parra , if they got caught they managed strong post contact or slipped out to more gain more yardage.
They seem to feed off one another.

Albert-Jones used her big frame to her advantage today.
Tried to hard to be a ball player last week,balanced it out well today .
Pack leader Butler appreciated having her take that role too as the other bookend Kitai don't seem to be brought in to carry as much i noticed,but she tackles her a#s off.

Hooker Paekau don't seem to get a mention, despite a couple hesitant plays due to half not being ready she was big on D and sharp on her dummy half scoops.
She was my pick today despite the speed merchants doing there thing.
