I'm guessing we have a shit tonne of money in the kite currently anyways. Tohu and Dylan Walker moved on this year, so that's 1.2 mil just from their contracts, on top everyone else we dont resign for next year like TMM, Ale etc.

I noticed last night when the leaderboard for a some different categories came up and line breaks was one with Dane Gagai amongst the leaders. If there’s any truth to us interested, I wonder if that’s a factor? Wonder if we are looking for a strike centre? We could be conscious too of not wanting to block Leiataua’s path, but getting him picking up some of the nuances with becoming an elite strike centre which he has in him

With an aging Barnett and Fish, yes. We would still be missing some strike in the backs though which would be the only thing making me apprehensive

Get Capewell onto getting a couple of Queensland guys over in Tino and Gagai. Not minding the idea of Gagai for a couple of seasons

Tino would be a big play, he's used to those $$. I'd rather grab Kerr, somehow he's only 29?!?. Probably cheap, can play, can hit too

Wouldn’t go near Kerr, many often not the sharpest tools but to talk to media and say the origin ref was trying to even it up is dumb by any standards. Must have still been pissed and has been sanctioned. Seems like one of those players that puts together a few performances in contract season. Tino in my view puts us amongst the best teams as I’ve thought we’ve lacked a bit in the middle against the likes of the storm and someone like Tino’s 150m average a game would be huge. 25 and learning behind JFH for a few years would be huge, he’s already been captain of titans. Bit of talk he’s not too keen on big Mal after he was ready to defect back to Samoa while Mal was Australia coach. He’s a taller middle that we lack and his best years are ahead of him

If we can get him out of the floundering Titans Tino will be the Daly M lock every year for the next 5 years even ahead of yeo. I have also posted a number times we are thin in the middle and need one more player. Let us be strong in the forwards and just serviceable in the backs. We will get across the stripe often enough even with our halves if we get front foot ball.

If a player like Tino is interested in playing for your club you pay them what you want. Him, Fish, Barney, Halasima, and Clark would be the best forward pack in the comp. Would give Metcalf a huge platform to perform

He’d verbally agreed in 2019 to 4 years at $700k a season but finally went to titans. I get the feeling he’s a player that would rather have success than the massive pay cheque, though think we’d have to do much better than $700k per season. I agree, we’d have the best and most feared pack in the comp

Well if it's success he wants, that would take us out of the running.
