The bro took 28 of the 175 total runs, if everyone took the same amount of runs it would be like 10-11 each. Luckily souths never broke the line long range (not counting intercept) where would he find the energy to chase someone down? And they were good runs too, also supported the second phase.

If the NRL stats are correct Fish had 56 tackles in 55 minutes. Niukore also only had 5 minutes off the field, presumably due to Rocco going off. Ford played 59 straight minutes in the middle. Imagine we will be seeing a lot of that going forward.

CNK has shocked me.
His basic no frills carries are more than decent.
He us putting a late step to get more PCM and falling on his front.
He is also popping up in support more than before close to the ruck.
He played his part in the Leka try backing up the Demi offload to Egan.
He also helped save three possible tries.
The late step is the big difference I’ve noticed recently, he’s never utilised it much until this purple patch of form

How does that Batman quote go?....."He;s not the hero we want, but he's the hero we need"?.....or some shit like that.

That sums up Charnze for me.

With our lack of strike im one that wanted a Keano Kini, speedy line breaking type fullback. However ive come to the realization that, that type, doesnt suit the strengths or style of game we play, which is a no frills, defence and effort areas based game.....and thats where Charnze lives.

a lot has been made of our defensive resilience this year, particulary by our middles who deep in the game just keep turning up time and again to turn defences away. They only do this is if theyve got the energy levels in the tank. When youve got Charnze taking 2 hit ups a set, Roger and Dal 1 each, that leaves an oompa only having to take 1 or 2 hit up at the most.....no wonder our middles are holding tough late in the game.......and plus their quality hit ups poking their head through the line getting good ruck speed.

And then u have his defence which is safe as houses, but its more his communication and organising the line which is probably his real value. We've won by mostly grinds this year, and that suits him to a tee.

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, can we trust him”

“He’s not the hero we deserve (Hans Zimmer score kicks in), but the hero we need…you die a hero or live long enough to see yourself a villain”
