We are 2 wins away from equalling last years total wins (9). Mental.
Part of me feels like it's a false dawn and our luck will run out soon, I keep telling myself one more win and I'll be a believer, one more and it's real. But if it all comes crashing down on Saturday, we've already exceeded our expectations and we should all give ourselves big goup Andrew Webster.
As long as we keep going into each game believing it’s a banana skin game, we’ll be alright. Put in a big shift for this one and we get to come home and play in front of a raucous home crowd

Another game that has a nervous feel to it can see the score being 28-22 or there abouts whoever can ice the moments will win
glad to have some room for error a lot of other teams hopes are starting to fade with 14 chances to get some wins on the board and origin disruptions

overall I hope this is the round where injurys begin to slow we can build on some form of continuity in the squad feel like it will help with the clunky attack that has been a feature at times we have proved we are a top 4 side i pray we show signs of being a contender soon.

It came crashing down vs Melbourne. But we got right back on the bus. We may have a few more shockers this season. But this year's squad is playing as a team that is united & confident
for me it didn't completely crash because we won the 2nd half of that game and storm are the benchmark of the comp when they are getting it right the raiders round 1 was shit loads more shocking for mine.
Look at the stats.
We have the highest completion rate and the lowest error/penalty rates.
We also rate better than the dogs for inneffective tackles.
I would argue that this is the most consistent we've ever been. If the scores weren't pants shittingly close, I'd say we were almost kinda... boring.
and we lost around 6 games by a try or less last year stats can often be misleading especially ones from years past.
I have watched every one of there games this year and they are a good chance of winning this game.
I'm sure the staff will be all over this but on some very cursory looks at the dolphins' defence they're very leaky around the edges - the connections either side with the second row and the centre are exploitable - I want see some that sweet interplay between egan and our halves as well - but i'd definitely be throwing it to halasima one or two wide in in good ball
I don't believe in "2nd half wins " when we lost the game lol. My point is the 2025 Warriors seem to be mentally stronger than past years. Winning the close ones , Fighting til the end and not choking.
Love a stat! Especially one that increases the UTWI score going into a game.

You're right, we are mentally stronger under captain Fish and Barney. I worry too much about our outside backs, it's good to have this forum for reality checks and interventions when doubt creeps in.
If we win this we get a table-topping clash with the Raiders at home, we'll see who the real chokers are. One more game and it could truly be our year.

I didn't suggest it wouldn't be a close game. Just a fun fact to add to the conversation. There's a gap between Melbourne and the rest of the comp imo. But the gap between all other teams is incredibly tiny, so any team can beat any other team as has been demonstrated all year. That's what makes our 7-2 record so incredible: in a year that has been so crazy, we're quite possibly the epitome of consistency this year.

We need to stop death riding this team. In a season where every team, including the storm, has had incredibly bad moments, we've been the symbol of consistency. Crazy but it's true. Vegas was almost 3 months ago now and we've only lost once since then and risen on the ladder for every week bar one. Boys have earned our faith that they will turn up each and every week. We got this bro.
