When are we getting Mariner or Arthars, they can't keep that whole backline under the cap, can they?

Over the course of several games yes, but they had a big win last week, are up 20-0. The coach doesn't just say some awful halftime advice and lose 24-20.

The players played really bad in that second half. A terrible challenge, however many high tackles and not securing the offloads (like us against Raiders/storm).

AOB is not a good coach, but he's taken the. Top 8, 4 times in 5 years. I would say he's doing what Cleary did for us.

yes, but Cleary also made top 4 once (2007), prelim final once (2008) and a grand final once (2011). AOB has eeked into the 8 pretty much all those times and been kicked out week 1 of the final. I think the best they did was in 2023 when we thumped them at mt smart in finals week 2. They are at best an edge 8 (7-10) team under AOB. I suspect Knights fans/board think that is the ceiling under him. Imagine what webby would do with KP, Fletcher Sharpe, Bradman Best, etc. He'd get them into a GF within 2-3 years.

I've watched Sharpe closely the last 3 games and he's something else. Speed, Offloads, tackles 25-30 a game and he's EVERYWHERE, always backing up.

Yeah agree. They don't like the grind and will try to find shortcuts.

It was already embarrassing for Brisbane when we beat them without 6 of our starters. If they lose here with Souths missing their starting halves and a host of other stars, I can't see a way back for them to be taken seriously as a contender this year.

For all of his faults, Walsh really is critical to the Brisbane attack. They have looked super clunky without him.
