So much to like about this team.

Something I think that hasn't been spoken about much so far is that the Raiders looked pretty good. Especially that first half. We were barely holding on with Strange and Weeks looking dangerous as.

They'll be there at the end of the season. A top forward pack and skwm very fast, dangerous backs.

And we absolutely smoked them.
Got in to the arm wrestle when we needed to, tightened our d and just rolled over the top of them. Boyd was fantastic and looks like he's come of age.

All of that without our 2 best players last year. Capes, one of our best performers last game injured before kickoff. Then another 2 - spine players - injured in game and we still roll this very good Raiders team by 40? Wow

Something feels different with this team. Something special is brewing here. This could be the golden era many of us have dreamed about for 30 odd years.

TSS it's tough asf, he hits hard and takes tough carries. Been super impressed with him, i was not 100% sure last year but he has gone to the next level

He's only one part of what has become an elite administration.

Trys are cool, but is there anything better than seeing your team fire up on D and just hunting the opposition?

TSS absolutely banged someone at one point, with Fish coming over the top to finish them off.

Early in the season but man the signs look good so far. I may have to drop the Cuddle' s nickname, there feels like a steely edge that AW has developed. Or has it been the timely injuries of a few players - Marata playing cup instead of being put straight back in suggests its the edge.

Tonight's game was a big statement from us against arguably the best pack in the comp and in wet weather.

Seems to be a few converts to the Boyd and Ford fanclubs. I'm certainly one of them. In Boyds case I wonder if the injuries to our halves have released a bit of pressure on him knowing he is going to be the 7 for the first 6 or 7 weeks. And getting a full off-season training there as well. His confidence is growing. He is a true 7 and his kicking game was top class tonight. And his organizing and sweeping left and right was superb. The best part about him and the team so far is that it looks like we have dropped the monotonous, robotic play. There is still the structure there but we are playing what's in front of us more and varying our play nicely. And all of that is backed up by our defense and effort. As good as scoring 40+ points is, my favorite moment was stopping Noah Martin from scoring from dummy half with all the warriors defenders holding him up with big smiles on their faces.

Big question mark on who plays 6 next week with CHT out and possibly CNK? Looks like TT will be at the back regardless.

Will also be interesting to see where Metcalf fits in. With CHT and CNK they are very good defensively for a half. Putting both LM and Boyd in gives two lesser defenders in the halves. But nice conundrum to have i guess.

2/2 and against top rated opponents. Couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. Should be top of the table after the round finishes.

It's a weird feeling starting the weekend satisfied with a commanding Warriors performance. Imagine getting used to this!

That was an all time Mt Smart crowd.
Served up revenge so perfectly. Doesn't get much better than that in the stands.

We’re stacked across the board.

Just a few things.
Boyd’s impact was vintage Andrew Johns like. MOM.
We were just physically relentless.
Our attacking style is new age.
Taine Tuaupiki is a superstar.

Taine really did add some pep and spark in and around the ruck eh. Felt like the opposition were back pedalling a lot off the back of his darting runs… Good problem for Webby to have.

Insane watching Teddy and Tapine looking gobsmacked and stuttering post game 2 weeks in a row

Hope we become 1 of those gun teams that fly off the mark and seal the deal in September, I’ve never seen this kinda start for the Warriors against the minor premiers and favorites

i know tanah has had a good start to the season but are we seriously wanting CHT dumped after 2 games (when he was great last week, unlucky this week)

The Warriors bosses will have to have an emergency meeting and they probably should cancel the Broncos swap and save the coin to keep Boyd.

Crazy to say that but Tannah is better than anything Brisbane would be willing to part with. He found his mojo in NSW cup eh, he was the player of the year in there and it shows.

Metcalf has to play six, he does not have the kicking game of Boyd....that is if it isn't too late already, Boyd's agent will be getting massive offers thrown down this week.

Boyd is young, he is hitting his straps now.

He suits our game plan, Webster ball, territory and strangle, and he has unlocked out backline.

Time to lock in Tanah before it’s too late.

To beat 2 finalists missing 3 out of our four halves is unbelievable.

The young guys stepping up and the experienced heads leading the way has been a pleasure to watch.

When Ali had that lapse at the start I wondered how he'd go from there, but man that was awesome he was able to move on and have a big game.

What a win.

This was one of the all-time games of rugby league. Huge. Tanah with the nutmeg. Ali the monster. Leka with spiders on him. Jacko being an unreal competitor. Such a good game. A+ Have a fantastic Wahs Winning Weekend whanau wear that shit proud out in the motu.

The adversity faced before the game of losing KC, 15 minutes into the game losing CHT then Fish going for an HIA! I didn't see us coming out the other end like this! I had that feeling in the gut of " oh shit" we're in trouble. Boy was that feeling completely wrong & thank fuck! 40 points on the trot can't be overlooked. The way our bench injected themselves was the best I've seen in a looong time! I wouldn't pick just one MOM. This one belongs to the whole squad on the paddock tonight.
