Still remember him and Foran tearing up Aussie 2014/15. And this is Aussie Cameron Smith, Slater, Thurston years.

Tonga and Samoa did the Kiwis a favor with the movement of players away from New Zealand.

New Zealand having lost all the stars to Tonga and Samoa have become a team that has returned to oldschool Test match culture, the players that the Kiwis have available now are there for the old fashioned reasons people played test matches in days gone by.

By reducing their options the Kiwis have ended up with hearty play for the flag types of players.

Even though Tonga and Samoa took some players that were better than their Kiwi counter parts at the time of the split, what really makes a strong test team is the will to fight for your colors.

In this vein it is good people like Dimitric and Leka chose where their hearts lie.

Gee Dimitric is a good bench player.

Another awesome sight this weekend with the crowd. International league is improving but it's not really due to management and planning but more luck they fell into with the Tongan & Samoans drawing the crowds.

That middle 3 of the Kiwis with JFH, Leota and Tapine is a great unit. This week there was less of a drop off when they were replaced. Whyte, Willison and Clark kept it going through the middle.

Nice work from the halves. Having a fast elusive fullback helped a lot.

Also Isaako knocking over the majority of the conversions.

Add in the fact that your edge D conceded the least amount of tries amongst all left edges in the comp

Are we better with Egan? Yes.
Is Healey ready for 60+ mins every week in the nrl? No.

Egan was close to a SOO debut, he’s in the top 5 hookers in the game imo. Hes a leader for us, has captained us & makes other players better around him.

He does need a reduction in mins though, that i agree with. Hes probably a 60 min hooker these days, with the speed & physicality of games. But I think people underestimate how important Egan is to our side.

The first crop of players will report for training on November 5, and will include Jett Cleary, Motu Pasikala, Jason Salalilo and Makaia Tafua and Jake Thompson. Code converts Caelyse-Paul Putoko and Harry Inch will also join the group.

Senior players like Dallin Watene-Zelezniak will start pre-season on November 20, with the grand final winning NSW Cup players to arrive on November 26.

Representative stars, including James Fisher-Harris and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, aren’t due back late December. Players will break for Christmas on December 20 to January 5.

Star signing and former Titans flyer Alofiana Khan-Pereira will join the group mid-November.

Would love to see a group of Kiwi men doing what the Ladies are and coming home and stacking the team

Would love to see him here. Played 105 consecutive games from round 19, 2021 to round 26, 2025 without missing a single game. That kind of reliability is a pipe dream at the wahs.

He’s extremely handsome but massively over rated. I’d start both Laban and Leka ahead of him and still have Fatialofa, Eddie and Neal coming through. A bit of a pointless signing if this is true

Another outstanding article outlining our pathways system, players to watch & the depth we have as a club. This guy is one of the most underrated content creators & deserves more appreciation, I learn a lot every time I see his stuff.
