For all the people rage posting right now, let's keep some perspective.

Dragons are no longer the mud side they've been all year. They were robbed against the Dogs, beat Canberra and taught Cronulla a lesson last week. Getting the 2 pts was never going to be easy tonight and we had to be good to beat them. They are a grubby side with their season on the line. To be as bad as we were and come away with the 2 pts is actually fortunate.

As for the game, no doubt that ranks as one of our worst performances all year, despite it being a win. For a side with the best completion rate in the comp, 10 errors is just ridiculous. No one player should be scape goated- JFH, Ford, Leka. They all contributed to the mess we created in the ruck.

But once we got out of our own way, I thought we won the middle battle. Erin did his usual thing and was our best I thought. DWZ, RTS monster meters as per usual. TSS also had another solid outing. EIT also did well in the middle, even though that is not his natural position.

Finally, Pompey haters need to chill. He had a shocking start no doubt and Finae was running rings around him. But he definitely redeemed himself by showing up Finae twice in the final 20 minutes, including for the match winning try. Pompey is one of our most consistent performers week in week out. So one mixed performance we should give.

Didn’t we just beat the team that has just beaten Raiders and Cronulla.
We are top 4 despite so many setbacks and are safe in the 8.
And there was so much fantastic play at times and more first grade experience for Healey Tanner and Eddie.
Leka didn’t play the second half.

Agree, how did we even get to that point. We obviously low balled him initially. Would’ve been a real bad move letting him go as I think he’ll be our long term centre and a gun one
    Well played Warriors.

For you blokes asking how it ever got to this point, it is just the normal dealings of a well run Warriors recruitment dept by Andrew McFadden.

The whole NRL know that the Warriors have an excess of future star back row forwards, apart from the NSW cup team advertising this every week they put Fatialofa on the paddock, there have been a bunch of articles and dozens of media mentions about the forwards coming through at the Warriors.

Penrith are watching Nathan cough I mean Jett every week and Dad is talking to him about who is a goer in this club eh.

First things first, the Warriors cannot stop any given player wanting to go and join the best team in the NRL eh. No one can if that player really wants to.

Second of all, this was smart dealings by Fatialofa's agent, clearly Kaylis never really wanted to go to Penrith, rather he wanted more money.

The Warriors themselves know full well what he has to offer, he is not a player they were going to let go willingly.

Some fans think the club is dumb, no if joe average fan thinks they can see something lemme tell you, the club knows a hundred fold more about any player than any fan.

This club has a long history of being irresponsible with its cap management and investing in the wrong youth....mistakes driven by this illusion called 'potential'.

Kaylis is not ahead of Leka, or Dimitric, or Gannon or Laban, those boys are NRL ready (some like to argue Gannon is not, well I watched his return to the ESL post injury and he is still surprise surprise a decent young talent sorry).

Some may argue Kaylis has greater potential, and fair enough (remove Gannon from that calculus, because he does specialist roles that the others cannot) maybe Kaylis will be as good as or even better than Leka.....but here is the real shit kicker....he is not ahead of any of those players as far as readiness goes at the time of these negotiations....and the Warriors would be setting a very bad example by putting him ahead purely on potential....so offering him that first offer was not low balling.....it was simply saying mate....you are barely out of highschool....there are a bunch of guys NRL ready right now that play your position....this is what we paid them at your age.....

I am very interested in seeing what happens with Crosby, he is also has huge potential, but he is not ahead of Kaylis, I mean it is crazy to think that had Crosby come from League, he might have been ahead of all of them.

How do Penrith even get a look in.

Its not uncommon for players to test the market so they know how much they are worth and can go back to their club with a dollar figure but the fact that he actually signed the Penrith contract is very concerning.

McFadden needs to sort his shit out asap.

Wonder if McFadden being asleep at the wheel let Dolphins swoop in and get Lucian from under our noses.

Kayliss has a good shot at being a first choice center by end of next year. Berry can't stay fit / Ali also cant stay fit and isn't really improving atm / Pompey is in cruise control again
So I had early good intel on this. Lucian and his brother player Harold matts. Lucian was the star & his brother ended up not making the 17 towards the end of the year.

The warriors offered Lucian a deal, but not Deangelo. The phins offered a package deal, which was the trump card in the end
