Man the regular deebie downers are out in force tonight!

We lost our starting 7 early, whilst not having our starting hooker, captain, centre, whilst the dogs missed Montoya & Tracy. They’re essentially full strength, at home, playing like a top 4 side & needed a bounce back after getting pumped by the tigers. The ref didn’t help & he showed to quickly try even the penalty count in the last 10 mins when the game was gone to make it look like he reffed fair.

We’re a side down on confidence, down in troops & it’s showing. The reality is, we’re not a top 4 side, nor are we playing like it. That doesn’t discount all the heavy lifting we’ve already done to deserve to be in finals footy. We’re probably the 6-8th best side imo if we can get some troops back.

We just have to accept this year as a development year & move on. This year’s still been a mammoth success imo with the unearthing of some juniors who will play for many years at the warriors, have had incredible exposure to what the NRL is & will be better for it.

Chin up ya sooks. We got beaten by a better side but it’s not all bloody doom and gloom, sheesh!

Bulldogs clearly the better team even without the leg ups from the officials.

Better game plan, better execution (kicking game of Burton, set completion) and a wall of defence. More disruption to our already disrupted side didnt help but the lack of attack and cohesion on attack evident (as it has been all season tbh apart from a few Metcalf/Leka moments to create from nothing).

Those moaning about CHT's kicking......have u never watched him since u/20s?

That said the bunker and Gee sucked ass......as for Brandy....u could almost hear the glee in his voice.....he can go suck a big one as well.

U couldnt confidently back us in any of the remaining games but geez lets hope we can scrape 1 or 2 more wins to at least keep us in the 8.

That was one of the most one sided , Cheating officiating i have ever seen against us. And they'll keep doing it until we challenge the cunts. For real. Fuck this shit.

On top of poor performances by many.
Webby is really starting to fuck me off. Keeping players on to long until they fatigue and make mistakes or get lazy. We had a weapon on the bench! And didn't bring him on until the 2nd half?

Then dropping Boyd, Who is the superior kicker out of our halves for 2 halves who couldn't kick a stone!? We needed a basic game plan in the rain. Strong hit ups, towering bombs and kicks into the corners.

But no, We pick Fabio The Bush Hunter & Agatha Christie Harris.

Big ups Ford & Tanner Stowers Smith. Ran and tackled hard.

Fish the most over rated prop in the game. He’s been outplayed by Clark, Demi and even Ford FFs what a waste of 800k. But he has aura lol. And Marata. Charnze is clearly having a sook because his dad moved him from fullback, 6 runs in 2 games.
Can Webby even coach, get Tangatatoa in. We’ve had the same problem with no solutions for about 8 weeks now. Healey was our best last week and we needed him on at about the 20 minute mark and he’s brought on with 25 to go, with the game gone?? Fucken dumb.
    No solutions from Webster?

He isn't Jesus, he can't bring injured players back from the dead.

    Cheer up.

Our club is shaping up nicely.

Thanks to Webster these guys put the effort in, even when they are getting ripped off.

It cant be overstated how tucked the referring was. Yea our team made plenty of mistakes, but you take out the early bullshit pens, and its a very different game.

Do we still get flogged? Maybe, but we will never know. So many doggies points were scored off the back of that momentum gained by the tef. That constant having to defend is draining, and those calls against you are mentally draining.

That lost challenge was such a fucking crock. The Warriors knew it was obstruction. The doggies players thought it was obstruction and the player was trying to submit to not have a pen called against them. The only people who thought it was a pen against us were the Ref and the bunker.

Fucking hell, fans of every team in reddit were saying we were being fucked.

Sucky night. We were short on quality at the start of the year and rose above it until we lost too much of what we had.

The young guys will be better off for the season we have had.

If you want to see the impact of injuries look at the casualty ward. The Storm have lost Hughes, but for the most part the top four are blessed by angels.

It is not an excuse, it really is the reality and we've run out of steam.

A few of our good players will get turned on by the fanbase now, but they are not to blame as they are cogs in the machine - JFH, CHT, Ford. Webby is a great coach too, let's try and have a longer memory than this last few weeks.

    Lets go Warriors bingo fans.
    • Looking for the refs to square up the narrative by penalizing innocuous high shots only to get carried away and favour the Bulldogs with an 8-1 penalty count.
    • Someone will run their head at Marata's shoulder and get him binned.
    • Leka will get coached by the ref the whole game about pushing up at marker.
    • Not a single pass from dummy half will get called forward.
    • Random Roll-Ball penalty in the last 20 to kill the fightback momentum
    • Taine's kick returns will get called surrender tackles killing any PTB momentum.
    • Dogs lie all over the ruck. Ref gets mad at Ford for milking.
    • Dal goes for a stupidly late offload and nobody is ready, losing possession.
    • Rog drops one cold.
    • Crichton gets away with a stiff arm to the head.
    • Dogs score from long range by punching in behind the ruck.
    • Kikau scores by using Boyd as a speed bump.
Please let me know if there are any other injustices I've missed.

NRL 2025: Warriors fans threaten to drown out Bulldogs at blockbuster home game

    Startled and unprecedented.

That is the surprise reaction from the Canterbury Bulldogs who face the unthinkable - being outnumbered at a 40,000 crowd home game by New Zealand Warriors fans.

Official data shows Warriors supporters have bought more tickets than the Bulldogs faithful for Saturday night’s top-four blockbuster at Accor Stadium.

Warriors fans appear to have strategically targeted this game for the past six weeks in a bid to surpass the amount of Canterbury supporters.

It is cheeky and bold and has prompted Bulldogs chief executive Aaron Warburton to issue a ‘call-to-arms’ for his fans to attend the big match and avoid being drowned out by noisy New Zealand supporters.

Canterbury haven’t been outstripped at home once this season.

Ticket sales indicate the Indigenous round crowd could reach 40,000 as Canterbury hunt a minor premiership and the Warriors seek to remain inside the top four.

While Warburton predicts his club’s massive fan base will engage in a late ticket surge, he did say: “I’m genuinely startled at the ticket take-up rate from Warriors fans.

“We’ve completely dominated attendance at every home game this year, but the Warriors supporters are proving why Mt Smart Stadium is consistently sold out - they’re organised, committed and they’re coming in numbers.

“Our ticket sales data before Tuesday’s team announcement showed Warriors fans were ahead of our numbers - something we haven’t seen all season. They’ve been snapping up tickets from day one.

“This is unprecedented for us at home this season, but I’m confident our large fan base will respond. When it comes to pure passion and loyalty, no fan base matches ours.”

Sydney’s robust New Zealand population appear zeroed in on the Bulldogs game with Warburton pointing why Warriors fans will be at Accor Stadium in large numbers.

“Warriors fans are renowned for their voice and cultural celebrations - they bring something special to every venue,” he said. “The Warriors don’t just have fans, they have a movement.“

“They carry the pride of an entire nation, while we represent the diversity of Greater Sydney. That’s what makes this clash so special. The Warriors bring something unique to our competition that we deeply respect.

“We’re looking at a crowd of up to 40,000 fans featuring two of the most passionate supporter bases in rugby league. The atmosphere will be electric, and that’s exactly what Indigenous round deserves.

“I’m confident there’ll be a strong late surge from our supporters. We’ve owned Accor Stadium all season, and I expect that blue and white dominance to continue on Saturday night.”

The Warriors are clinging to fourth spot on 30 competition points, just one clear of the rampant Penrith Panthers.

“Canterbury’s got such passionate fans that when they’re competitive, everyone benefits. They’re building something solid,” said Warriors CEO Cameron George.

“The beautiful thing about playing the Bulldogs is the respect between our supporter bases. Pacific Islanders in Western Sydney often support both teams - that’s the power of cultural connection.

“Indigenous round allows us to honour both Aboriginal culture and our own MÄori heritage. The parallels between First Nations peoples across the Tasman run deep - this match celebrates that connection.”

Canterbury is running equal second on 34 competition points, just one win behind Canberra, the competition leaders.

To facilitate the expected late surge, Canterbury has made $10 undercover seats available through the Ticketek website.
