Our game plan 101 is to grind teams to death......the Titans we;re up for it with 94% completion

And we dont have the strike to run a B or C plan when its not working.

CNK at fullback and Capewell at centre is doubling down on the _"we have no strike so we'll bore u to death".

Absolute shame no place is found for Tauapiki......well and truly past time Charnze needs to take one for the team and play centre.

Congrats to the Titans they thouroughly deserved the win and were the better team.

And you guys who post every week why oppositions are absolutely no chance against us.......can u just stop.

Time to be honest with some players.

Niukore either needs to move to the front row or the bench.

Ford needs to desperately fix his discipline. His effort isn’t worth the trade off, he puts us under pressure too often.

CHT can probably find a new role. Halves combo of TMM and Boyd going forward for me.

DWZ can have a few weeks off.

    Capewell has to get healthy.

Healey needs to be in the team somewhere.

If we are serious about challenging for top 2 and a home prelim, we need a big win today to close the for against gap to the dogs given we play them for 2nd in a couple of weeks.

This NEEDS to be a 40 point win. We need a statement for a bunch of reasons.

    1. Say bye bye to Dessie. Thanks for the memories but take your horse down to old town road fella.

    2. Avenge 2024. 66 points conceded to this mob at their place was a low point, as was losing on Anzac Day (thanks Tannah)…. A 40+ point drubbing squares the ledger a bit until we pump them again at their place in a few rounds time.

    3. Erin and Tannah to give them a f$&k you performance. Being values is everything. Erin to get a meat pie this week and Tannah to step up a gear from the Knights game, have several try assists, run the cutter perfectly and throw in a drop goal to put last week to bed.

    4. Say thanks to Fozzie. Playing our best most ruthless game honours him. Then we share a beer with a legend.

    5. Send a message to the comp - especially the Phins and the Dogs who are next on the tasting platter. We’ve a had a couple of recent performances where our forwards haven’t hit the mark. Panthers, Broncos and Knights. If I’m JFH, I want to bring back the swagger we had when we played the Phins at Suncorp when our boys were serving them a pile of smack talk and we bullied them. Let’s bring that back.

    6. I just want to see this team get feral and have a ruthless performance both defensively and offensively. I want the comp starting to fear us, not just respect us.

Today we get another shot at an 80 minute performance.

Time to bury the Titans and slap them with their wooden spoon until they beg for mercy. I want them to feel what we did last year at their place.

Then do it again in a few weeks at their place.

    For and against, let’s go.

    Wahs by 40+

(Don’t let me down and have another knights game - that would piss me off)

Leka's brilliance is purely instinctive. You can't coach that. Look closely at that remarkable try: first up, he consciously took a step backwards just before Boyd attempted the field goal to ensure he was onside. Just in case. Just in case what? Boyd was going to have to thump that ball to get it anywhere near the posts from 40+ metres out. The chances of Leka getting his hands on it were negligible. But he corrected his positioning, in a split second, just in case. Then when the ball did, incredibly, spiral across the field in his direction, Leka snatched it from behind himself, thus swinging the momentum back in his direction and allowing him to take off at high speed. Again, pure instinct. Finally, when he set off, he didn't once look to pass. Didn't check to see if anyone was even nearby. He just knew - somehow - that he was going to get there. And that, again, is pure instinct meshed with raw potential at its highest level. What a freakish talent.

As a starting fb he's played 11 games for us.
Not including the 2 games he went off injured (including the weekends game against Newcastle) he averages 184 meters a game and 0.7 try assists....

Averaging a tick under 120m as a winger, which is probably a bit short but not poor by any stretch
Yep agree, all stat based ARM does my head in, TT offers way more in try assists and other areas CNK lacks. See it in NSW Cup week in week out. Not to mention those 2 tackles he made on the weekend. Highly underrated, massively under appreciated. Then we have the ‘he is too small’ club as well. Same peeps would have Kini here in a heartbeat 🤪

Everything shown above can be accessed from the fixtures menu as below:

    HELP!
Now this is where i need your assistance. The insights is only as good as the data behind it. In order to have meaningful data and analytics, we need decent ratings data from the community.

Can i please request, that if you have a few spare moments to go through the fixtures, and go through all the round games and rate all the players for 2025(or some if you have a recollection of how they played). The data collected gives a lot of information on how players have been performing through the season and will be even more meaningful next and future seasons as a result.

All links on the pages should work. If something doesnt work or doesnt make sense please post through. Colours will change to be more inline with current style. Dark mode and mobile views will get better over time.

    Open for feedback.

But before you do, please go and quickly rate a game or two. All games ratings are preselected to 6, so quick to rate (takes about 20 seconds). Please ensure you save/submit at the end of the ratings form.

Quality of metres/runs and impact/effectiveness of them means more than just the sheer number of runs and metres.
My possibly one eyed eyeometer has TT beating CNK.
4 moment's last weekend got the win for us. All 4 were from 2 players.

Leka's tackle on Fletcher Hunt right on the tryline. And Leka's match winning try at the end. The other 2 were try saving tackles by Taine. After making a tackle and having to get back up and haul his ass over and make the try saving tackle on the support player , Not once! But twice! was epic!

We used to have a thread celebrating our late wins with last minute tries or late field goals, famous comebacks.

This weekends win is a good reason to bring it back. We have had a few late tries or drop goal break our hearts the last few years. Let's reminisce on when we were on the better side of it.

The last 7 minutes from Channel 9. Or as the thumbnail puts it the Gods are from Aotearoa.

he seemed quite happy in the sheds celebrating with the team afterwards. You are right though he seemed a little dejected in the moment and the bashing he is getting online doesn't help. Dogs and Tits fans are trying to compare him to Sexton after that one performance which seemed grossly unfair.

I think there are enough leaders in our team to keep his spirits high. This is something he never had on the GC where he was quite frankly thrown to the wolves after every mixed performance he had up there. We have the right environment for him to succeed but he needs time. I think he'll prove to being the game managing half we need to do something serious at the back end of this year.
Thought he looked quite stunned on the field even when Leka scored. Probably had started processing all the shit he was expecting to get.
He nailed the conversion over the dot though and we know he can kick. Just a bad night at the office.
    He'll get plenty of support
