It’s a logical business decision, for both parties - but still I follow this club with my heart not my head, and I’m sad to see our little scrapper depart. He was one of the only ones that gave a fuck during the covid years and I’ll always remember that. Go well Jazz, we’ll miss you.

Wow some what torn by this. Love what he has given over the years to this club. I have said this before but there were times it seemed like he was one of the few that gave a shit about the club when were really bad. Hopefully this means our young guys get more time.Jazz leaving

Fellas, can we please stop with the Bunty stuff. Especially replacing Ford.
Bunty has no post contact meters, and barely any meters in him at all.
Bunty's played 9 times this year and made over 100m once, while Ford has passed 100m 11 out of 19 times this year.
Fun fact, Ford's first game playing prop in first grade EVER he managed to run for more meters than Bunty ever has in a game.
Ford has really only played 2 full years of NRL and is still on the improve, where Buntys stats have been slowly getting worst the last 4 years.
Ale on the other hand....should have been in the team the last 8 or so rounds!

We need to be developing Sio Kali and Ali Leiataua in the centers next year in NSW cup.
Nganatatafu Vake has progressed from SG ball to Flegg to NSW cup this year as well and needs cup minutes next year.
Patrick Moimoi will also be coming back from injury needing NSW cup minutes
Hiraka Waitai-Haenga will be fresh out of school and probably gets a game or two taste of NSW cup next year.
Absolute no to any contract for Laumape
I honestly think he's been injured for about a month.
Won't be surprised if he doesn't play NSW cup either whenever that list normally comes out.

CHT has been playing pretty well. He knows how to get the ball outside him and quickly too. Defensively he has been good. Would be a tough ask to drop him, even though i prefer Metcalf at 5/8. Would be interesting to see how Metcalf would go.
Hopefully this team can start firing.
Curious to see how RTS will go at wing. Dont think he has the speed for it, but wish him the best. He had a great game last week. IMO it looks like his best position is where he can go and do things on his own. He so often runs away from the rest of the team and him not getting much support doesnt help. In a team that would be fullback. Not a fan of his linking play from FB though. CNK if he performs to his ability is our best FB. Roger is such a conundrum i swear. Hopefully the offseason and preseason will do wonders for him.
I'm not ready to give up on Ford yet.
Only turning 27 nek year, plays multiple positions, has a big engine. He's one of those toilers that every team needs. If he cleaned up his penalties and errors he'd be fantastic imo. I have an inkling under JFH and Barney hell tidy up his game and go to another level.
Also for me, yes we have good young players coming through but I don't think they'll all be ready to be full time, week in week out NRL players by the start of 2026. Some will, but most won't be.
We have massive player movements over the next 2 years with AFB, SJ, Tohu, Jazz and potentially DWZ a s Walker all leaving at the same time, I don't know if we can the look at scrapping many more than that, or were going to be rookie/newbie heavy which will really impact the team.
Losing players like Montoya, Bunty, Pompey and Ford on top of those key players were losing would have a detrimental impact on our team imo
Not sure why we need to be a retirement option for aging Rugby players? I know that is harsh but we need some speed in our backline and signing backs that are 30+ is not going to get that for us
