Yeah, could easily see Kearney going that way too.

Probably easy enough to pick the fully fit side now we know where certain players are likely to be positioned.

After the GC trial it seems pretty clear how selections will go in most areas.
    RTS -then daylight
    Fusitua then daylight
    Hiku lock him in
Kata we wanted him to pass, he is passing
Maumalo no one else has a compelling case for him to be dropped
    Green please stay healthy
    SJ did most things well
    Blair forward leader
    Luke fit and looked sharp
    Gavet wrecking ball
    Mannering/Harris no brainers
Papalii how can he be left out

    Cook showed sharpness and awareness
    Pulu played his way in
Satae has worked hard and deserves a crack
    Sao works hard

Can’t argue with much of that team, I’d just start with Sao over Papalii, the bigger body would help early on, me thinks.

    Stalefish540 .....

I think you've pretty much got it. I do think Paasi will be fit and edge Satae though. Maybe Pulu will start with Papalii off the bench. Not the worst looking team with Beale/Roache still to come back.

Titans made us look better than we actually are but we should improve. I would have anyone of the other props in the team over La-bone head. Cant afford them dumb shit penalties better teams will make us pay. Anyone see the games the others were involved in back in NZ? How did Vete go? Surely he is a better option than Sam after his suspension of course

    Sao an Satae hell yeah
I see more of an upside to developing these two than perceivering with certain
Others .Hopefully by finals these two are our starting front row .

Beale to replace Ken, I can live with Kata, just no more close to the line dummy half runs.

Would love to see CNK, looks like he will only see first grade if there are injuries.

Paasi won't be there. Medials are 6 weeks minimum depending on how bad it is. Lisone just shouldn't be there. You have a 4 forward bench but I don't think Luke has 80 good minutes in him now and Cook has been given enough game time across the two trials that I expect he'll be there on round 1.

Vete went OK yesterday, nothing special though; high workrate as you'd expect as did Sipley. Vete looked like he had a point to prove but it's hard to compare reggies to FG. Not sure he did enough to displace Lisone even after Sam's shocker yesterday. Mooks may not have much choice though.

Blair and Gavet look like our 2 top props with a bit of daylight after them at this point of the season. Trouble with that is Blair offers little go forward. Paasi's injury's costly IMO. Sao went well in the middle but overall our forward pack won't be scarying anyone after yesterday's performance sorry to say.

Thankfully we have hope in our halves, and Harris is one of the better Storm pick ups even after the one hit out. Haven't seen anything to excite me about Gelling either so I'm picking Ayshford's feeling good about that.

OOPS, forgot, we also have hope in Satae.

The two times Gelling was called into action on defence he was abysmal. Been a very long time since I seen a centre get caught so flat footed. Textbook example of planting. There is no way in hell he should be anywhere near the top side right now...

I was thinking, "welcome to the NRL mate". One of them was a lazy intercept attempt.

Where have all the people who were wanking on about Ata Hingano gone?

Seem very quiet since people have finally realized what Green brings to the club.

We are lucky to have Hingano, I can't see either Green or SJ playing every game.

We can apply that to a lot of the guys who have been unhappy when the club signs someone new or they get relegated to reserve grade. It's a long season there will be opportunities either through injury, suspension, lack of form. The key thing is to make the most of your opportunity when it comes.

Guys today get dropped and want to change clubs instead of working through things. Young guys will be in and out of first grade while they come to grips with that level of football.

Hingano will get time in first grade. Green is getting up there in age and should pick up niggles. Johnson has had injuries lately.

I'll take my hat off to Lino- he plays to the best of his abilities but if we wind up with him in the halves again- we're fucked- again.
