What role do you have Jerome Ropati doing mosh? will he be subbing for Hohia?

Actually since we have Faumuina at 6, I would dump Rauhihi or Leulaui and play David Faiumu from the bench. That means that Sione can move to the backrow and we can bring Ropati on, and Faiumu can substitute with Hohaia.
I updated my side.

But I find some things interesting:

-Bluey had 100% faith in Lance playing 7 last year, going against all trends to put him at 9. Bluey is a good judge of a player, been through BC, seen what players do. MUST have seen Lance play well at BC level. Maybe, just maybe sanity prevails and Lance will get the 7 Jersey.
-Bluey is loyal, and I think apart from SBW he will try and keep the same side and reward our boys. I hope though that doesnt mean Koopu does not get a run as Wairangi deserves a black jersey and a start in it. The guy bleeds passion.

If he comes out and has an absolute blinder, combines well with his halve Sione/Ropati (whoever is there). And his centre and wing Toopi/Martin/Manu. Would you think that justifys Ivan to put him at 7 against the Dragons the following week?

Well, they are fairly interchangable I think. Rauhihi to start mainly because he has more experience. He's getting on a bit now, but still a dangerous offloading prop.

As for Hohaia at 7 - it's not ideal, but we can't have Jones and I don't know how well Thomas L is playing in the ESL.
As far the Warriors no.7 debate goes - from what I've seen, Fien has been relatively underwhelming so far this year. He's shown glimpses of what he's capable of, but not enough to claim the spot outright IMO. I guess we have been spoilt having Jones as the halfback for so many years. Sure, Jones was periodically off his game in 2004/5, but you always knew he could pull something out of his bag of tricks when the team needed it - and often did with some brilliant plays.
Hohaia deserves a game or 2 at halfback for the Warriors to prove to Cleary he has what it takes. If he dosn't front up then fair enough, go back to Fien.
