Don't know about you, but I'm finding it a little troubling in what seems like total silence from the Team Management since Egan left the field. By now there normally would be some comments...looking better, perhaps it could be 4-6 weeks depending on the scan...we're suspecting but just don't know. etc.

More so because all us experts know how critical the role is and how thin on the ground we are with specialist cover for the season, especially with the extended absence of our nominated cover, and nothing much ready n waiting for an opportunity we know beyond that.

We would normally have first estimates by half time?? TBC...

Or did I miss something?

He’s having an MRI this afternoon so we will know late today/first thing tomorrow

I guess that means there is damage, and we will need time out.
Could we run Niko at DH for 2-3 games?
Or do we want worse service better D from Jazz or Sironen?
What blunts the attack more bad hookers or inexperienced halves?
I'd like to play Niko at 9 and spell him with Sironen or Jazz.
CHT and SOS in the halves for the first few rounds i guess.

Will be a hard start to the year with combos etc.
Lucky we have a pack.

Certainly more promising than what most of us expected. He has the best part of 2 weeks and with strapping and injections he could well be good to go.

Expecting something like this, Brown probably showed his hand against the Tits when any number of players could have had time at Hooker but it was really down to Jazz/Sirro

If Niko played Hooker I expect Turner would play five-eight, SOS is like for like with CHT so don't see them together in the halves.

Not sure what the positive is to take from a potential bicep injury, notoriously slow to heal, think months not weeks.

What i like about SOS is his boot.
Guy seems to kick well and turners game is more of a running game which I don't know if we need. We need more distributing to the edges and middles.
SOS did take a few runs though , does test the line.

Only potential at this stage, you have to admit it is looking better than a couple of days ago.

Pretty much describes why I'm not keen on moving Nikorima though I could see it happening. Does everything you describe for the price of one.

One of the top five-eights in the comp last season.. just saying.

Honestly, I'd prefer the elbow hyperextension to the bicep issue which is more the problem according to Gus's tweet.

All will be revealed soon and hopefully good news.
He’s got a chip on his bone and a torn ligament little chance for rd 1 but should be ready for rd 2

1.RTS 2. Hiku 3. Fusi if fit Pompey if not 4. Aitkin (Stoked we have him) 5. Ken 6. Kodi 7. CHT (SOS if CHT not fit / Turner didn't show enough but I like him more) 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Sironen 10. LAM 11. Murchie (Curran if Murchie fails HIA) 12. Katoa 13. Harris 14. Tevanga 15. JTB 16. Evans 17. Curran / Turner/ Perham

Really need another real hooker / full-time. Luke if he doesn't get picked up permanently by the BRONCOS (looked good n the Maori game), Levi....Cam Smith would do. Or give Melbourne a big winger of ours and try to get Brandon Smith NOW!!!!

IF we don't buy a new hooker then I would like to see Turner / Perham get some practice time as an impact hooker or double hooker system late in halves to exploit late offloads by our big men in the middle...more zip.
