General Wrighty & David McKay 2022 Fantasy Competition

Breaking it down stats wise.

Whiteknight has hit mid 60 points for the last two weeks, and mid 60 points for the 4 out of the last 5 weeks.

Whereas

Boats n Hoes has been high 50's for 4 of the 5 weeks with him just picking up high 60's in the last round. So he's struggling to see off Whiteknight.

Prediction: if Boats n Hoes struggles again with another 50 point weekend and White Knight hits around 60 points, it is his to win it. But it's going to be tight.

As for Mr Brownstone in third place, he needs a high 70 plus point weekend to even put pressure on. He had 70 pointer 3 weeks ago before two 60 points plus the last two weeks.
If you get a chance then it would be interesting to know who the unique players are for each team? Obviously if all three teams have the same player then they all cancel out and whatever points he scores are irrelevant. Again with all my injuries and restings I’m not sure I have any unique players, therefore impossible for me to make up ground.

Alex Johnson is the only player all 3 teams have. Surprisingly different squads for such even results

Legend! Thanks mate

Nah everyone has JFH (not playing) and Reece Walsh as well. So excluding the common players plus those not playing this week, Boats n Hoes & Whiteknight each have 10 players and I have 8 - so I’m a massive long shot to win (if I wasn’t already).

Focusing on 1st vs 2nd heading into the final round, you can also exclude Papali’i, Murray & Manu as common players. So you are left with Boats n Hoes unique players being DCE, JWH, Mahoney, Maumalo, McGuire, Taumalolo & Walker up against Whiteknight uniques of Cotric, Fa’ausuamaleaui, Johnson, Munster, Paulo, Smith & Teddy.

Based on that I’m putting my money on Whiteknight to take out the premiership!

Mr Brownstone Boats n Hoes and Whiteknight if you guys want I can post live updates at the end of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and heading into last update would be Sunday. to show where you are all at.
That would be brilliant!!

I've had Mahoney all year, he doesn't run much, but boy he can tackle.

He was much better last season, seems happy to shovel the ball on to Moses or Brown this year. I’m not convinced he represents that big an upgrade on Marshall-King for the Dogs, however perhaps he steps up in a lower quality team.

Marshall King has made a marked improvement since Madge has departed. However prior to that he was comfortably one of the worst hookers in the world playing at professional level.

Madge departed? Madge coached the Tigers. MK plays for the Dogs

For the final time this year, the trading window is now closed.

This is the final round, good luck everyone.

Live update after Night 1 - Thursday Night

Top 3

Whiteknight - 1439.70 - 17.37 points this round so far
Boats n Hoes - 1439.18 - 9.5 points this round so far
Mr Brownstone - 1431.73 - 20.62 points this round so far

Whiteknight has used 4 players in taking on a .52 lead to Boats n Hoes 2 players.

It's going to be close.

7 matches and 3 days to go.

As promised - 2 days down 2 to go

3 games played - 5 games left

Boats n Hoes - 1458..30 - 28.62 points so far - 5 players remaining
Whiteknight - 1448.70 - 26.37 points so far - 5 players remaining
Mr Brownstone - 1439.95 - 28.84 points so far - 5 players remaining

So Boats n Hoes now has a 10 point lead, with 5 games remaining. This time tomorrow night it all could be all over.

As promised a live update heading into the final 2 games tomorrow

6 games played - 2 games left

Boats n Hoes - 1470.17 - 40.49 points so far - 1 player remaining (Tigers)
Whiteknight - 1461.05 - 38.72 points so far - 1 player remaining (Raiders)

Mr Brownstone finished on 14.49.82 - 38.71 points this round - no players remaining

I didn't know Penrith was going to put out nearly an almost B team resting their entire first team bar a couple so that put a dampener on those points.

So Boats n Hoes as 9.12 point lead with 2 games to go, but actually their only players go head to head in the last match of the round. It could go either way.

Maumalo vs Cotric - big points differential to overcome however with wingers anything could happen!

Actually probably a fitting end to the comp.......comes down to the last game, the players that count are in teams that are playing each other (Ken and Cotric marking each other too if im not mistaken)......a game i wouldnt have watched otherwise now my game of the season.

Special thanks to David Mckay for the updates, for me anyway its actually been pretty exciting getting the live updates, gone from thinking i was out of it to having a chance to it now comes down to this.....thanks Dave.....legend fella.
