b) Wiki and Price aren't the only two people in the Warriors. What about the other guys. Price and Wiki have been here one season each. Wow. Full credit to their playing career but they are not VETERAN WARRIORS. Stop telling me these young kids need to play with them because they don't. They have 10 other kids on that park who have played with the Warriors for a much longer time than just Wiki and Price. I realise their mana but they need to play with everyone.

c) Stop being so negative. Yes that is what you are being. Let it flow. You are fans and while fans can be critics you need to put seasons behind us and face this one. I wouldn't be so annoyed if it was Round 20 but its like Round -3 ...lol. Please for the love of god don't be negative before our boys have played a single NRL game.

d) Don't write them off before the season has started.

e) Stop making stupid predictions that change every week with every news article.

f) SIONE SPENT 20 MINUTES AT STAND OFF. IF I HEAR ONE MORE PERSON WRITE HIM OFF I WILL SCREAM. BITCHING WILL DO NOTHING. HE IS STAYING THERE. HE HAS HAD 20 MINUTES THERE AND PEOPLE ARE WRITING HIM OFF. GIVE HIM AT LEAST 5 ROUNDS. NOT 20 MINUTES!

A) I find it a bit ironic myself, last year some including myself abominished Kemp for giving out only one debut and not having the courage to make changes, here in trial time - the time to test things without any real competition punishment - Cleary has given opportunities in one game to Daniel O'Regan, Patrick Ah Van, Cooper Vuna, Grant Rovelli, Sam Rapira and George Tuakara and people are musing as to why?

B) Agree, they aren't the only two players at the Warriors, IMO the best front row in the comp, but still behind that is a group of very talented players which is why for the life of me I can't work out why we aren't succeeding.

C) Haven't seen too much outwardly critical, just good debate.

D) I don't think too many have done that.

E) People are influenced by the media, but generally can form their own opinion

F) Agree with the sentiment. Unreal criticism from those who didn't even see the game is quite humourous.

G) Always. I think 99% here do too.

Personally, I'm liking the differing views, because in 100% of the time it comes down to people just wanting the best from their club as diehard fans.

i assume i am one of the "victims" of this tirade but let me assure you i am not negative towards the mighty warriors. just ask any of the guys around here that know me.
if, in your opinion, questioning and trying to discuss the reasoning behind ouir head coaches decisions is deemed 'negative' then i,d suggest you give up the footy forums and starting up a little glee club where everyone has to say what you want to hear.

I have NOT written the warriors off ! I dont believe they will get to as high a position on the premiership ladder as some on this board but i will support the boys and the coach regardless.

Dont you tell me how to convey my thoughts regarding the Warriors.

Of course, bitching is a form of expressing their view. What I mean is that I wish people would hold back and let things happen before laying judge to it. Of course it would be boring bro and I am deft. interested in different ideas but I wish people would think in depth if it is constructive.

Of course it does dude! And belive me I can get frustrated at times, but the fact people aren't letting the coach try options.

It seems that everyone loves the Warriors when they are hot, but when they put one step wrong everyone isn't being that constructive. Instead, bagging people. Of course not all the time but some of the time ...especially on this forum.

I believe that it is actually 'boohoo'. Stop taking my message so personally because your the only one who did.

For anyone that took my post personally, DON'T. It was made because I was sick of the people who have all but written our boys off and I was pissed off. It was not a personal attack on anyone - I didn't call out any names so don't start flaming me personally. It was just a 'let it go' type message to let our boys play football.

I mean look at Betham last year. He had his own troubles on the field and to make it worse there was a dickhead reporter from TVONE who thought to do what he did to him. It only builds up the frustrations.

From a fans point of view I would hate it if any of the Warriors checked this forum because of some of the comments that are made about them.

You know, I support constructive comments and believe me I LOVE a good debate but I can't stand whinging. Make the post an IDEA and that way the constructive nature comes out.

It is all about debate.

I think some members here are sick of us losing, I for one. We need to start off on a winning note, these next 2 trials are crucial.

It also goes to show that players that have been marked as "Stars of the future" may not be up to scratch.

This proves how important Junior Development is and how handicapped we are by not having a "reserve" team.

From what I ahve read, the first choice team will not be much different from last year.

Someone here mentioned that the Storm thrashed the Eels, which means trouble for us.....They should have seen the teams put out before making this comment, Storm were almost full strength and the Eels had about 8 players missing.

Perspective people, perspective.

The Warriors should be in contention for a Top 8 spot this year.

We all have different views on the Warriors, but one thing we all agree on is that we want them winning.

Relax, people, Wiki wasn`t naming anyone in particular and everyone here has the right to express their opinions about the Warriors, whether or not we agree with them. The more opinions expressed the better... that way each of us can take the knowledge we want from each post and disregard what we don`t want. Debate is a good thing, because we get to see all sides of the Warriors as a team and there are a lot of knowledgeable fans here helping us to do that, whether or not we agree with everything that is said.
The bottom line is that everyone here is a Warriors fan and wants to see them win. So talk AWAY... I`ll focus on the posts I feel are constructive and skip over those I feel are not... Wiki, expectations are too high as per usual with Warrior fans. We have lost our little general and our main enforcer as well as our major impact player (and replaced them with lessor quality/experienced players) as well as replacing the head coach so there should be little doubt that we will need time to gel. I expect another season of near yet so far, exasperating roller coaster results that has been the norm since 1995. My biggest expectation is the development of the young local talent so that other Staceys, Montys and Iafetas are brought to the fore.

I am very positive about season 2006 because from my observations the team seems to be happy and the players are enjoying being part of the Warriors. This is something that I believe will lead to success.

I think at times there is a danger in confusing high expectations with a desire for the team to succeed. We will all have differing expectations as to how the Warriors will do this year. Some are picking top 4, some top 8 and some mid table. We can all point to various factors to support our expectation and there is nothing to say what is right and what is wrong. Irrespective of which category people fall into in terms of expectation I think it is safe to say that everyone here is united in their desire to see the Warriors win the premiership.

Losing people like Stacey, Monty, Frances and Feka (to name a few) is always going to create challenges for the future but the departure of one player is the opening for another. Who knows - perhaps league's next "big thing" will come out of the Warriors this year.

If each of us had the opportunity to be the coach of the Warriors I'm sure we would differ in how we would undertake the role. Some may play full strength teams for all the trials, some may use almost exclusively development players and others a combination of those two extremes. It is easy to debate what the mix should be but from my perspective it is important that our coach has direction in his coaching, that he has a plan and can get the players to support that plan. Ivan Cleary seems to have such a direction and the support of the players and I believe that our club is in very capable hands.

One of the great things about this forum is to know that there are so many passionate Warriors supporters out there.
