For the warriors to go after Atesa (sorry about the spelling)
Lavea(the Blues 1st 5) he is probaly not good enough to make the All Blacks as a genuine flyhalf, however he has all the skills required to play league at number 6 or 7. Runs well takes the line on and i think he used to play league aswell like half the blues backline.

Even if it wasn't the warriors it dcould benefit NZRL hugley and personally Lavea could really shine, in my opinion be remebered as a great if things played out well for him, even though he might be sacrificing money to do it.

Tasesa Lavea. He was in league. Use to play for the Melbourne storm I think it was. Even had a stint for the Kiwis in the 2000 World Cup to take Henry Paul's position while he was injured. He kicked onto rugby after he wasn't really shown more after that

Lavea was a decent sort of standoff though, some good kicking skills as well.

Tasesa Lavea was actually Dally M Rookie of the Year for the 2000 season while playing with the Storm. He never really kicked on after that though, shifted to Manly but had more dramas there before returning to Union. A bit of a one-season wonder really.

i reckon he was probably more suited to league than rugby...he used to go to my school and played in the first XV with his twin brother tai, couldn't tell them apart :?

i think the warriors should only try and buy him if a)they have the money

and b)if he's said he wants to go back to league
