Yep. At a cost of 9K if I remember correctly. He had a clause in his contract where he could travel home on the Warriors tab. He once went to the UK and missed his return flight so the club had to pick up another ticket for him and his family to the tune of 12K...

Just to clarify, Denis Betts was a great player. He just wasnt great for us! It is said he mucked around and didnt put in at training and during games but when selected for the English team while playing for us he would have blinders.

Im filthy on him and get pissed when I hear his name...

Aidan Kirk was OK for who he was - a back up player. Scored a nice length of the field intercept in a finals game at Mt Smart if I remember correctly.
