General Woke up this morning and this is what i found...

Damn you! You have much more snow than me :(

Its still snowing here but I want more :(

I just went out side to start the car to go to the supermarket....must be close to a foot of snow on the car. Waiting for the car to warm up at preasent then i'll go get the rest of the snow of the car.

Well got the car out (eventually) but f*** me there are terrible drivers on the roads....people not indicating, people not indicating till they are just about into the corner, tail gaiting in this weather for gods sake!!!!

The ABS kicked in 3 or 4 times and without 4wd she would have been a mission getting around.

Some have it some don't loads of power and phone lines down around South Canterbury.

Yeah I heard it was hell frozern over down your way, it was crazy driving to work I was one of the first people on the road it seemed that went to work alot of slipping and slidding.

Down here the only cars on the road are big 4x4's trucks and Subarus. Glad i brought a Subaru now:)

Did you get sent home early today JonB?

Yeah mate if it was absolutly crucail to go home we could, everyone left

Yeah no power in Auckland today from 8.30am, some places a bit later. Shops closed early, most schools went home early, traffic lights weren't working, and some cars were only getting a few metres in an hour due to the traffic. All because of one line snapping off, causing all that chaos. We didn't get power here until 5.30pm.

Wish it was snowing here, its just pouring down with rain, got soaked walking home from school!!
