I am not going to listen to this tosser this week, he'll he rubbing NZ leagues into the dirt about how we were over hyped and never up to it.

He is a union lovering league hater and wont let this oppotunity go by to have a crack at our game. I still remember one saturday night when he had a crack at league and someone called up to put him straight. He cut them off and said, and i quote "No one south of the Bombay hills gives a stuff about league in this country"
A league hater!!!!
He will be itching to get on the radio this week.

I'd say he'd be more dissapointed than anything.
The league featured every day, all week on his show - he had interviews with a host of league people. He promoted the game all week so be fair.
Why are league people so sensitive? We got thrashed by half a century - there is going to be a reaction. After all the talk that we were the best in the world, you are not going to be able to suppress the inevitable backlash.

I don't like Willie Lose as a talkback host. He is too opinionated and his voice at times gets up my nose (he has a Ropati type speech 'problem').
I do not listen to him on my way from work these days. I prefer Graham Hill far more 9or the other hosts).

ANd hes the type of host that if he doesnt agree with your opinion he cuts you off and goes to the next caller. i will be looking forward to listening to Alan Mac this week. He will be really upset but he calls a spade a spade

Yep spot on PM, Lose and Telfer both have that terrible trait. People knock Tony Vetch but at least he does cut people off when he disagrees with them.

As for Alan Mac, he's a bad tempered old bugger (him and my old man used to knock heads all the time when my cricket played against his, Papatoetoe) but shoots straight when it comes to league....and you can't knock him for that.
