who is the most dissapointing team in the Nrl. Take into account these teams squads and there pre season predictions

Eels
Panthers
Roosters
Raiders
Warriors
Dragons
Tigers
Knights

In my view tigers and warriors would have to be the most under performing teams in the comp they both had squads full of stars yet are struggling to find any sort of consistency. at the start of the year i never thought the eels or the panthers would do well looking at the players they had so for me warrriors and tigers

Warriors, Dragons, Tigers.

Knights were overrated because of the Bennet factor at the start of the year, Raiders have a great forward pack, but no consistency in the backline or halves, roosters have quite a few fill-ins and Pearce is overrated. Panthers and Eels have had crap squads to begin with.

Warriors, Tigers ...picked to be top 2 by many, many pundits and are both gonna miss the 8.

I'm surprised how far the Eagles and Storm have fallen too, but those have been injury/suspension issues.

Anyone who thought the Eels would be anywhere but last was smoking the crackpipe.

I agree with you. The dragons are under performing, and they have practically no chance of making the top 8. Shame they didn't have Bennett for a few more years. But for now, GO WARRIORS. :D

We are by a mile. The other teams have at least had spurts of form. We've barely managed to string 40 good minutes together at a time. The only team coming close to be as big of a disappointment to us is the Tigers. Even then, their Captain's mum passed away. Their form nosed dived big time after that, so who knows, she may have been close to many in the team.

Knights hype was just the media. If you look at their roster, it's a 5th-8th team at best.

Has to be the Warriors. Grand finalist from the previous year. Huge expectations from fans, media and experts. Started the season bad and got worse as it went on, currently in complete disarray losing matches and setting all the wrong records.

Well since the Warriors are entirely form dependant on who is Coaching them , it has to be Penrith.

Bluey is so bad he's driven Ivans work into to the ground....so that's not under performance that's cause and effect.

Ivan the Grand final Super coach in charge of average talent was expected to Coach them to at least mid table.

Because it's all about the Coaches as far as Warriors fans are concerned , the Two are inversely proportionate to each other.

Therefore the fact that both are languishing at the bottom......... according to Newtons Fifth Law

= both teams are shit and anyone who thinks the winner this weekend says anything about the ability of the coaches is deluding themselves.

Ahh but in Clearys defense i saw a thing on TV with Gould where he talked about how Ivan was brought to the club to rebuild it, he was told up front that they knew the club was in for a rough time, i read that as gonna suck. And that it may take 2-3 years to reshape the club to what Gould and Cleary think could be a grand finals contender. I dont think either of them is terribly concerned at how some of the players feel about the transition. At least the way Gould put it, changes were going to be plenty and often until the roster and the back stage personnel are in place to give it a real go. He didnt sugar coat it, and the way he talked he made it sound as though this had been communicated to the local fans in spades. So in my mind Bluey and Ivan dont equate in the same way, irrelevant of where they are on the table. Just as well Einstien was able to supperced Newtons laws isnt it.
