With the the unfolding events of the last few days Warriors HQ is starting to get a Star Wars theme to it.

Here's the first official photo of the newly appointed dream team...

Star-Wars 1983-2.jpg

Back row from left:

Tony Iro (aka C3P0) - Has the distinction of appearing in every saga. Good drink server, but still a mystery as to what else he is there for.

Gus (aka Jabba the Hutt) - Supremely confident and influential being that is powerful enough to command respect and payment from the Galaxy's ruling government in multiple roles, some of them undisclosed.

CG (aka Bib Fortuna) - Taking all calls to enter Jabba's palace. Hasn't had any for a couple of years but says phone has been ringing hot since today's announcement.

Nathan Brown (aka Salacious Crumb) - Cute and adorable but known to get slap happy and attack heads when provoked.

Some guy that goes by the name of Princess. Escaped the exploding death star a couple of years ago, but has been recaptured and they wont be making the same mistake twice.
Looks like the club is still looking for a fulltime football manager, and will be announcing that and Nathan Brown's assistant coaches within next few weeks.

That's great!

This is where the wheels on the theory I posted fall off, apparently. Had another source reach out to say my story was more or less right until the Payten/Brown/Gould plan.

Unhappy with the pool of applicants, Payten was offered 1 year in the belief they could still entice a Supercoach for 2022 for 2-3 years before handing back to Payten. When Payten said no, there was no plan B.

Nathan Brown, in full prep for a Cowboys interview, then reached out to Robinson himself personally to discuss the role.

Gould was approached a couple of months ago by Ownership seeking advice about how to move forward through this current period and also on who he would recommend for GM of Football. Discussions led to his role announced today with the hope that it will also help get a quality candidate over the line.

PoS isn't allowed any more responsibility than he has already, due to his past indiscretions.

And apparently Payten will leave at season's end, regardless.
