Management really has to get their act together if we are to keep up with signing playing as other clubs have already started negotiations. So peoples who should we sign, theres no June 30th so any one from 2007 & 2008 will do. The Roosters have already started negotiations!!!
Can i just add that Omely said he hated the Roosters & said he'd never join them when Anasta left now hes set to join them, so hes obviously not a man of his word, very dissapointing.

My choices are 1Sonny bill Williams- He said he wouldn't mind going home,
when asked so we are in with a chance!
2 Luke O'donnell

3 Shaun Berrigan

Any others you'd guys like to see in Warriors colours??

That would be great if we got SBW but somehow I see clubs like the Bulldogs and Roosters throwing the most money at him.

I only want SBW if he doesn't get hurt, to expensive to be watching

Gasnier is staying with the Dragons...basically forever warrior_fan so rule him out. Cooper...possibly although Shaun Berrigan isn't too bad. I can't remember who are likely to be open to offers but if some one's got the list please post it so I can look!

skinny everyone is basically open for offers now that the anti tampering deadline has been scrapped. the warriors could sign sonny bill on a contract for three years, and then after a year he may be signed by the rabbitohs and head over there.

It would also be an issue if players wanted to come over here, they would have to change their lifestyle and move all their belongings.

When you look at it that way it's pretty stuupid. Eg going from one team for three yeras to another tem for another two years. at that rate players will be swapping homes and teams like the nrl is some sort of flea market!

Absoloutly, we need a good finisher, with a forward pack like ours, its tragic were not making the most out of field posistion, how often have we been in the opposistions 20 m. line to come away with nothing!! Someone said they might not wanna move but fair dinkum if you offer someone 350,000 when there getting 250,000-300,00 most of them are hardly gonna say no & when you take into account NZ tax is cheaper than in Australia as well as genral living expenses & cheaper housing, its possible to get most players.
We need players like Jarrad Hayne who can consistantly finish kicks & passes off, let alone make a try out of nothing,we've been lacking a try-scoring finisher for years now so throw as much money as we need to at guys like, Jarrad hayne(no.1 choice), Shaun Berrigan(top try-scorer for most of last year), Timana Tahu , Amos Roberts, Eric Grothe & anyone else coming off contract with a try-scoring record within 2 years. I've left out Inglis & Gasnier as there signed till 2009 & 2010, thats too long.

Also Tim Smith said hes unhappy with Finch coming to the Eels next year & said he'll leave if it doesn't work, reading between the lines it looks like he just wants to leave. Is he worth signing for 2007??

yeah i know what you mean. It would be nice to see players stick around at one club for 10 years or so but unfortunatly it's pretty hard for clubs to do that nowadays. As far as Warriors buys for 2007/8. Well i think they have pretty much covered the halfs now with Rovelli, Witt,Ropati, Fien, Gattis and Hoahia. it would be good to see a really top notch prop come over. Its a position you can never really have enough good quality players in. So i would like to see someone like a Joel Clinton or a Kaufusi or Moi Moi in the warriors strip. And agree that someone like Berrigan would be awesome for the warriors. Unfortunalty no one ever seems to leave the broncoes.

Your right we do need a top notch prop as our team seems not to function without one but before looking elsewhere, try to resign Price for 1 more year, if we can't Joel Clinton's great, moi mois just resigned & so has kaufusi. There are also some great props going around in England, we could even bring one of the old boys back, like Solomona, hes still going great guns!!

Yeah that's true? Do you think though that once they have had a taste for the big money over there that they would be prepared to come back for maybe half the cash to play for the warriors? Maybe, but it will be tough. have to rely on them being homesick huh?

Every players different but yeah definitly, say they've already earnt a couple of million & they're getting 500,000 a year & we offer them 350,000-400,000, i reckon they might take it. Brian Carney came for less money to prove himself so hopefully being homesick or proving yourself again will work, its worth a try.

Yes, that is a popular question among new members, basically they can be used to bet on matches in the NRL or other things because you can donate Warriors Dollars but they may have another purpose in the future.

Ermmmm what Tax structure are you looking at?

This is one reason they would NOT want to come to NZ, as our Government takes a bigger slice of the pie than the Australian Government does.

Looking at the individual tax rates between Aus and NZ there dosn't appear to be a big difference - on face value anyway. If anything, our taxes seem a little less. But I'm no economist :p

The more difficult part for the Warriors when it comes to finding players to move is that we've had to use slightly different tactics more insentives. No big secret but remember we aren't a locally based club like all the other Sydney clubs so we have to think just that little bit harder. As for the tax...haha that is a WHOLE other story.
