I think vatuvei will come on for Misi. I don't think Ivan clearly will take bryne away and martin's playing well and they got mannering back. Misi's a a steady wing but so is bryne. and i'm sure clearly won't want to try untested combinations. u've got manu back from inujury and mannering into centre. U don't want to drop bryne and play Misi cuz u the combinations won't be there.anyway we need a goalkicker liek martin. webby had a shocker at goal kicking for the kiwis. Kicks can win games and tony martin's the guy for the job.

I think it depends on Manu's health and fitness. I know he has been listed on the bench, but I think that's basically because it's a matter of seeing how fit he is before pushing him into the run-on side. I read elsewhere that he is still out for another week, so who knows? :? *shrugs*

We DO nott want byrne lining up against colin best we will be destroyed. If manu's fit he'll play, taking byrne's spot. I will be shocked if byrne plays.

It should be Manu and Talapapa because they are our most effective wingers Toddy is fourth in my opinion.
It should be that simple.

It was interesting listening to Steve Price on Radio Sport this afternoon. A caller rang up and said he didn't want Byrne to be in the seventeen, and did Price agree. Of course the captain of the team wasn't going to go along with anything like that, but he brought up the point that each of the three brings different aspects to the table - Manu brings raw power, Misi brings speed and enthusiasm, and Byrne brings positional play, etc. So, if we went with what Price was saying, it depends on the game plan as to which wingers will get selected, assuming they're all available.

Although, if you want to listen to the interviews with Price and Rovelli, go to www.radiosport.co.nz, click on Thursday, then listen to the blocks between 3pm and 4pm. :)

maybe they'll keep Misi on wing and vatuvei in the forwards

Vatuvei will play in the forwards and I think they'll DROP clinton Toopi out of the team. Sure toopi can play forward but manu is alot stronger than toopi and it'll brig great to see vatuvei being able to run straight at the line and roam aswell.

There is some relief on the injury front for the Warriors ahead of Saturday night's NRL match against the Dragons in Wollongong.

Powerhouse players Ruben Wiki and winger Manu Vatuvei will both play, having recovered from niggly hamstring injuries.

Coach Ivan Cleary says it will be great to have them back, and he is just hoping they make it to game time without any problems as the pair can be devastating and will provide much needed impetus both on attack and defence.

Cleary says the return of Wiki is particularly important as the Kiwis skipper is a huge influence on the team, although it has probably done him some good to have a break.

Cleary says Vatuvei has shown barnstorming form in the little game time he has had this year, so it will be good to have that go forward presence again.

With tongue firmly in cheek, Ivan Cleary says he has spoken to Mark Gasnier personally and he is definitely playing on Saturday night.
