Man we really did try today!!!! I thought the ref had a shocker. I mean sure its good not to have much penalties in the game but at stages i thought brisbane held down on the warriors to long or what have you and the ref allowed it to carry on!!!!!
But i really thought the boys were gutsy today and they showed they can stick it to the best. We just gota stick with the boys the tides will turn. Bring on the roosters next week!

im not down on the result...far from it really, which is weird because i usually get really pissed off if we go down...but not today i thought we played extremely well, if we could play like that every week i wouldn't care if we didn't win games, as long as we are trying! lets hope we can rise against the roosters..

Actually, I thought the Warriors were guilty of holding down quite a bit. Maybe there were a few passes from the Broncos that looked forward, but I thought Shane Hayne had a decent match. The game flowed and both sides were making yards. It was a good match to watch and both sides could've won it right up to the last whistle.

Compared to the Sharks game definitely lots better. Still a bit concerned about the miss tackles count thou...25 is quite a fair bit. Defensively thou they did do alot better.

Bar some silly individuals making some stupid things from time to time (hey if the tackler happens to knock the ball from your hands that's unfortuante).

Looking forward to taking on the Chooks and Sticky Stuart! :D

Its this simple if we had a decent kicking 5/8 we would've won.

Our Kicking game was really good, i dont think a kick found the fullback on the full from a kicking game. found space between the fullback and the winger, which the warriors havent been doing.

Overall It was a good game, even if K-Hunt neaver talk a run into our defence.

I think alot things have to be taken into account today thought RS. We had to play a forced hand in alot situations.
1 Martin on the wing
2 Koopu at centre
3 we had jerseys that were of not a hell of alot of use today because of bad form or just not being good enough in Toopi (apart from one offload) Luck and I don't think anderson offers us alot at the moment I wouldn't be surprised if he is injured.

We didn't have a Stand off either. Today we didn't have alot in our favour..... I still don't think losing is acceptable.

Losing is never acceptable Jon,
no one likes losing. But under circumstances that we had to put up with,, the game could have been alot worse then what it was.

It was for the most part a good quality game of league to watch I thought. There were some outstanding performances from the Warriors.. for mine Wiki - back in crushing form, Webb - excellent as usual, Mannering - the guy is growing in confidence each match, Ah Van - speed to burn and Price - well he played like he always does, Mr Consistant. Also, Fien I think is much more of an asset at hooker - he put on some great plays.
I tend to agree with the general concensus that Ropati simply isn't 5/8 material - he's had ample chance to prove himself, but I'm afraid he just dosn't have the proper skill set. Back into the centres with ye JRo.

One of the pleasing things to come out of the loss from a Kiwi point of view was to see how bloody well Greg Eastwood played. If he isn't in a Kiwi jumper in the next year or 2 I'll eat my proverbial hat.

Not too disappointed, more disappointed that we were so close to winning rather than actually losing.

Rovelli's kicking game was a highlight for me. He made his debut this year and has played even less at halfback in the top grade but if he can get consistency he's going to be a great find.

Mannering and Ah Van seem to look better every time they play. Along with Vatuvei and Taulapapa (providing his indiscretion wasn't too serious) we've got a potentially strong backline forming.

Martin is solid as a centre, but a winger he isn't.

awesome game today we were beaten by the broncos not by ourselves. apart from the missed tackles i dont think theres too much to complain about. nice to see the boys playing so well and hope theres more of that to come. bring it on boys!!!!

martin may not be a winger but when you have ropati defending inside you well you going to look stupid at some point.

the overall effort was very good but some bad options on the last play were costly. also the ball was droped at a few crucial time ie ropati which led to a try.

it is coming together though fien looks much better a 9 and rovelli is turning into a fine 7. now all we need is to find a 6 and improve ball security and last tackle options and we should be able to win more games and compete with most teams.

Nah Martin's never been a winger, but he didn't totally mess up that much compared to the first round game against the Storm.
Agree about the other guys thou, they are all standing up and doing fine in the top grade.

Thank you Shayne Hayne for keeping the whistle in the pocket. Two penalites and both were kickoff infractions.

Worked today so had to listen to the game on the radio. Man it sounded really exciting. And for the first time this year you could actually hear the crowd. Well done guys and girls bloody good effort. Even the commentators commented on the vocal support a few times.

Iam looking forward to the replay on Prime, even if we did lose. Sounded like Sione had a couple of brain freezes again. When will he learn. Otherwise they/we were unfortunate. Sounds as if Webby held up his end yet agaion and saved a couple of tries. God we are going to miss him next year. My bet is Bradford. Any takers for warriors points ?

Fark that. How many penalties did Rusty Smith award in the Manly game at Ericsson earlier this year? 26.

The crap refs from previous years (Hayne, Archer) are stepping up, as are the youngsters Maxwell and Cummins, while the old guys are generally disgracing themselves - eg Bumsted.
