Forget that "Letter To Mick". I've been thinking of this all day. After listening to R/Sport it appears that the main cause of the "breach" is about extra's that were offered too Price and Wiki.
Which inc;uded their lives after football.
Now regardless of what I said about Mick,I am going to do an about face.
I think he holds the key to all this stuff that we are faced with. I think there is a possibility, that he may have found a way around the salary cap, that may not cause a breach. Now I hope he comes forward and gives the information that will clear us.
I read in another thread that he was at a place where lawyers are, now I ask myself...why was he there. Is he seeking clarification of a certain article in the cap, and players contracts.???
You cant dismiss the fact, that although his name is mud in some quarters, he is one smart cookie.
I hope for the players sake , that he does come forward tomorrow.For the club, the fans, and for himself.

Me 3. It's a good thoery DMM but you just never know he could have been in there just in case he could see back fire from the Warriors over this or like you said he could have found a loop hole in the salary cap and be making sure. if he did find a loop hole then phew, if he didn't well then he deserves what everyone has said. If there is a loop hole and he did use it then be rest assured that loop hole won't be there after this.

Warriors have got until monday now to submit their explanation to the NRL. hopefully it'll give them enough time to be a bit more detailed.

the ' extras' offered to wiki, ie, after he finished his playing career with the warriors, were actually given the green light by the nrl. its what made rubens mind up about coming home.
not sure about price.

I'm with you DMM. I say we drag him out into the street and kick the snot out of him and then present him to the NRL with no teeth.

BTW it's time we all get behind the team and tell them in no uncertain terms we are there for the long haul.

We need a confident team. From all accounts the Sharks are the team to beat. I am not surprised as their President Barry Pierce has just appointed his son CEO. I call that stability.

I dont see how they can take points off us for this season if we start the season under the cap.

Im expecting a massive fine but no points deduction.

That's just logical madbaz. However logic doesn't apply to the media/other clubs or NRL fans who want the maximum penalty handed out.

I hope you're right, but I think we're going to get hit pretty hard barring a miracle.
