We are building and getting better every week whereas Manly have been rocks and diamonds. So we are deserved favourites here. The result will depend on which Manly team turns up. They play great at home but have underperformed away from 4pines. If Manly play like they did against parra or dragons, its us by 13+. But if they play like they did last week, this is going to go down to the wire.

Something tells me last week was a huge physical toll on manly, if Nathan Brown's late injury news is anything to go by. Conversely we hardly got out of first gear to beat souths last week. They won't have the same impact from their bench this week due to Brown's absence + the Mt Smart advantage I think could give us a comfortable win when all is said and done.

But I'm going to go conservative. Something like wahs 16 manly 8. I'm liking this new equilibrium where we are conceding one try per half

What encourages me is the team seem all dialled in on the pattern of play and the game plan. What we are starting to see is the back up players getting a chance and fitting in fairly seamlessly. This is important as players, particularly the spi ne will need rests. Tuaupiki, CHT and Lussick can provide that. Good stats come from mainly team performance. Not individual.
