the guys looked really happy on the field and enjoying their footy. then as soon as maloney came on everything seemed to go to hell, his first touch of the ball was a bad pass and went out.

as soon as he came on the raiders knew to target him.

Cant be bothered... just like some of the Warriors really! Sorry you had to go out like that Luck. Brown and Maloney, piss off already!!! Godinet and Carlos looking really smart. Manu and Hurrell working together better on D. Tupou and Brown, lame! Forwards were much better. Great to have Luck and Mannering together. Ben Muts by far the best on the field and may be a true legend of the game before his times up.

Worst thing is, I cant see it changing much next season! We need a miracle...

Absolutely awful. The commentators were saying in the Warriors past 5 games had scored a combined 16 points in the second half. Well we added another 0 to that.

Iro made the same interchange mistakes Bluey made. Just awful. If your team is playing well and they aren't looking tired, then don't change them.

Next season hinges solely on who the coach is for me, and whether he can make the changes necessary and recruit in the areas we are particularly weak, and then instill discipline and a higher level of professionalism within the team.......I think losing Maloney and Brown to Oz, wont end up being losses at all, good riddance.

He was good in the first half behind an unusually strong Warriors go forward ( probably because of the wind at their back).....but once the second half rolled around and the real Warriors showed up, he went missing just like Shaun Johnson has been criticized for doing......we hear it all the time from ex halves like Sterlo and Johns, a half cant do anything if their team isn't going forward.

first half, as with the knights game, we had a lot of possession, and as Bennett said, any team looks good with that amount. the problem is we have no plan when things go against us a little bit, when the momentum swings back around. The good teams in the competition can minimse the damage. We just open up and say aghhh.
Carlos and Pita Bread looked really good. With a half decent coach I'm relatvely optimistic for next season. The side we have plus what we have recruited thus far should be a lot better than what has been dished up this year. if Billy T is still one of our wingers next season I might change my mind. Need some speed, smarts and skill in our back three. I would be surprised if when we have a fully fit squad that Billy T makes the side.

I voted Godinet. I think he showed today that he is genuinely worth consideration in the first grade halves. I am determined to see Godinet instead of Leuluai. I am well aware of the defensive differences between the two, but if we get a decent coach and the majority of the off-season is spent on defence, Godinet and Johnson could build a real halves combo (as long as Shaun doesn't get too caught up fucking around with 7s).

Tuimavave is going to cause some coach headaches. He looks like he is naturally suited to being Fullback than Locke on attack, but Locke's positioning is better in defence. Carlos can also play pretty much anywhere except prop too.

I went for ukma tai we have needed some aggression from a back rower like that for sometime another promising player off to ESL sigh.off topic for a sec why on earth was Mara subed for brown. crazy brown is no hooker,he deffenitly went from being a great utility to a liability in a season.so Ivan in all his wisdome went for brown and sacked Luke Lewis good luck with that panther fans lol

Let's give TL some time first. He has what half of the team lack - experience. I agree that Godinet has the makings of a great half, but he is still very inexperienced. Yes, the off season training needs to be very intensive but it'll take more than an off season of intensive training to make up for a lack of first grade experience. His time will come and I hope we hang on to him.

The rest of the team doesn't make it any easier for him either. When I watch other teams like the Storm I see their players deliberately running in front of the chasers to give Hoffman etc a better chance of catching the football. With us though our catcher is nearly always doing it by himself.
