Logic

This is a dangerous Canberra who have nothing to lose and have played really strongly without the mental pressure.

We have a lot of expectation and emotion in this one so here's hoping it wasn't lip service about staying focused on the matter at hand.

Emotion

Destroy those fuckers boys.
Do it for Mannering and the full house in attendance.
Dominate the middle.
March those big fuckers around.
Early kicks long to turn them around.

Fus to go crazy and get four tries. Two from Hiku passes. One from a Tohu pass. One from an SJ pass.

Lino to throe the final pass for Blair to score.

G.Reedy to get one from dummy half barging over through four defenders much to the shagrin of Ken who will be unmarked.

Mannering to get one through a no look classic pass when it looks like Mannering is a lead runner.

If we look at the match up on a player by player basis, we should have it easily. The only positions I'd say they match or beat us in are Leilua (although he's even more of a dumbass than Kata, which is saying something), maybe Rapana, and some of their forwards aren't far behind*.

I know the game isn't won on a player by player basis but we should have much too much class across the park, and combined with the full house I could see it being a similar game to last week.

*I can't bring myself to say Papalii is better than Mannering due to the special occasion!

I got tickets for this 3 weeks ago

The count down is on.. This..win or lose hopefully is going to be a cracker of a game... One team in great form.. Another coming into form and almost at full strength with it all to play for

Nice to see the rah-rahs are getting concerned about all the Warriors hype and success. Clearly they are nervous!
Two articles this morning with tacit ''support'' couched in shrouded niggles. Mr. Gray opening his remarks with ''pay what you like' full house comments and then additional column remarks on how much the Kiwi Ferns were watched on Sky last weekend over the Warriors game. (research figures which I find very hard to believe and very dependent on the quality of the question being asked)

Yeah right... try comparing Warriors watchers vs Blues watchers to start, and make it clear that it was only the last few thousand tickets that went under this regime and for a special person.

And Mr Gray, if you have nothing genuinely positive to say, better to not say anything than a condescending token column in the Rah Rah Herald.

The real folks that matter are delighted at the success around the club, especially given the travel requirements, fact that that they have to fight the rah rah establishment here for air time and everything else, not to mention Aussie refs and judiciary week after week.
Who knows, we might even get a photo or two in this weekend's press and more than a 1/8 page of biased opinion.

It gave me great pleasure to cancel my NZH subscription this week when it next becomes due. I hope someone asks me why, but I doubt they will.

Cant wait for tonight. Let's have another Black out, this time with the Tonga/England atmosphere. Yeeeeehaaaa!!!

Papali'i isn't better than Mannering yet but has the potential to be as great.

On paper the Raiders backline is great.

Their pack has size and Hodgson is a slick dummy half.

He and Luke will be interesting.

Heard a STAT that the raiders have lost six games this season by no more than a converted try.

That clocking off at the end has been their undoing, Dogs have similar narrow loss STATS.

Tough team, they would be one of the four teams I would want to play least in the final round, the DOGS STORM and Bunnies being the other three.

Karl Lawton left out of both teams? Quite an achievement.

He's been left out of all 16. Give that man a DB. Then get the NRL's high quality audit team "cough" to look into it.

Warriors 13+. Mannering to take last conversion. It hits the crossbar, the left upright, the right upright and goes through. SJ to give SM a "WTF" look, SM just nonchalantly shrugs his shoulders...
