Toddy P will think he has the inside run on us and will look for a fast start

We hold tight with high completion for the first 20 and I think that will start the cracking of the Cows

Either that or it’s Bronc vs Tits 2.0 try fest

Warriors 24 - 16

Everyone knows our weakness is out wide

If I was Payten the game plan is simple:

Constant pressure on Maumalo- little grubbers, bombs... chip kicks over his head. he’ll stuff something up. I’m also certain of it....

If that fails, just run over our turnstiles Kodi or Walsh or Egan....

Should be a high scoring game - hopefully for both sides

Let’s goooooooo Warriors!!

Could go either way today, cows have a bit of momentum but we have also had some pleasing signs playing teams in our bracket(Manly excluded). A win will put us in a good spot with troops returning soon, a loss will be a big hit to confidence
Can’t even put my any of my bookie money on it today, last weeks hoard of upsets cleaned me out! lol

Did you forget Fusitua? Ken might be faster then him at this stage. Jokes aside I really do hope they turn it around, where's the Fusitua that used dive out for tries being 5 meters away and when every high ball to him used to be a good chance of a try.

What's this we should win rubbish?

Show the opposition some respect man, it is the NRL. No one is a guaranteed win. I will be thrilled with a one point win.
I'd bank a one point win immediately. Its impossible to go into a game saying we already have it won, but just looking at the table a win this week and next would do the Cowboys and Sea Eagles chances of finishing in the top 8 a world of hurt and really consolidate our position, but its going to be an absolute nerve-wracking couple of games.

If Taumalolo starts, it would be tempting to start Leeson and Jazz to close the middle third down.

We have Curran and Tohu Harris, Evans is defending ok, we do have the troops to contain big JT.

Simple game plan, make some yards, hold the ball, go to Walsh on the fourth tackle for a running and kicking option, Kodi on the last.....swap that round on occaision....but no mater what, Walsh touches the ball every set.
I like your perspective on league, shame about your politics. No one is perfect i guess? 🤣 Keep up the good work 😎

We are in the top eight because these teams we are supposed to beat are beating other teams who are bigger fish....

Warriors would be in an excellent position on the table if they hadnt lost the 2 pt game to Newc and the 1pt game to Manly. Would be 5/7 now.

But given how many players we are missing and how much a total clusta flap the halves and ruck speed is, we are still in the 8.

But we must win today to stick with the leading 6.

Ruck speed, play the ball, dummy half runs etc all have to improve immediately.

And out last tackle option needs to either be a pin point kick 3m from the try line, a repeat set grubber or go with running it on the last, the worst case we give up the ball in good field position, but eventually we will score via share posession/completion numbers.

So for me, right now, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is best served as his usual defensive FB and Walsh should be playing 7, hes a terrific half and his 2 try assists in game one and his great kicking game shows he has the goods.

Either way, these are the games we just cannot drop and go backward in for and against, we need to be +16 minimum in these level of games.

Our forwards are doing their job, can we just get some offensive nous out of nowhere to convert our typical high levels of redzone footy, which we normally just have Kodi put up a pointless 15m bomb that nobody contests and even if they did it is too far from the try line. Gotta Ice the redzone or get repeat sets.

I went with a Janfin for my score prediction. I think that we can get the win but I don't think we will smash them. Of course I would love to be proved wrong
And because I like Janfins posts :D
