won't be watching it live - it's on at 0400 here. But thanks to WatchNRL ( the greatest cultural advance since the invention of the printing press - possibly ) I can watch it on demand - and hopefully repeat!
It's not much to ask is it? If it's any consolation I had the same problems with my wife. I think she kept a copy of the Warriors draw and suggested doing ' family ' things when the game was on. Luckily my son always wanted to watch the game.
Expect a well oiled polished performance... Sound D and somewhat relentless attack with plenty of points for a first up WIN... can't believe I really believe this to be true...
all in front of a sold out, loud and loyal Mount Smart crowd (okay may be pushing the sold out part)
Must add from my family here in Brisbane that we are still in shock with the unprecedented & heinous events that unfolded in Christchurch yesterday and our thoughts go out to the friends and family of victims and all involved in the care for these people.

Pretty sure I read we've lost 8 of the last 10 or so to the dogs(can't seem to find article now may have been dreaming), so not counting them out at all if thats true will be a close affair. This first month against Dogs, Tigers, Manly, GC could really set us up well if we play to our potential. I really hope we come flying out the gate like we did last year, can't wait for 12pm kickoff. Bring on the season, finally here!!
Flying interstate to surprise my mum for her 65th bday. My evil sisters coordinated the surprise dinner to be at the same time as the Warriors game. Oh well will have to make do watching game on mobile. Hope its a good showing.
Edit - NVM screwed up time difference. Get to watch full game in peace now before the event albeit with warriors hating Broncos fans lol
