Haha poor bastards... I fucking hate stationary bikes. Mateo should by rights be playing for Tonga right now... pity he put his country aside for the origin dream.

Coaching staff have been touting 2014 as bringing the most brutal offseason ever seen on our shores... I hope this comes to be.
I look forward to the annual sandhill torture photos :D

JBro is training with them, does that mean he has signed a new deal?
Not in itself. He could just as likely be trying to prove fitness for contract negotiations. particularly this early in the pre season.

Yeah seen him in the video ....thats interesting.
He obviously fell out of favour with Ackland ....he still pretty raw.

But anybody that big and fast is worth a closer look

If he is going to be used as a prop he needs to develop heaps, he doesn't like running that ball through the middle, his hit up's weren't that strong. Watched him on defense an he drifts out to the centre's. Apart from his size I liked the way he run's the holes, quick for a big boy - seen him out run 4 backs laughing to score a 65m try against us in the Fox this year.

Yeah - obviously was a flanker or lock in rugby.
But enough athleticism for him to learn.

Must just been on trial.

It was an early start on Saturday for the Vodafone Warriors as offseason training took a twist with a trip to the Mangakino-Atiamuri area to take part in 'The Taniwha' in support of Shine, a charity partner of both the Vodafone Warriors and club sponsor dtr.

The first group set off on 21km bike ride through bushy hill tracks with the runners starting later.

The 14km run was set against the picturesque backdrop of the Waikato River and the sun came out just as it began. Nathan Friend finished in the top 10 with a time of approximately 1hr 6mins.
