From what I saw he looked good, tenacious, worked hard as usual. Looked strong but obviously the grade had something to do with that.

Will be in the 1st grade mix next week , especially with possible injuries.

From memory, Jazz only played in an opening stint (~30 mins?), so not sure whether they're easing him back into it (e.g., bigger minutes in Cup next week) or saving him for NRL return next week.

The Chief was my favorite big contact forward in Carrolls era. Spud ran hard but.

He was part of the Knights team that played the Sea Eagles at Carlaw Park.
You couldn't miss him, even before kick off. He was head and shoulders above everyone . Bloody good player too.

Ali Leiataua’s a beast. He’s aggressive, high work rate and silky hands as well. He did miss a 1on 1 tackle which led to a try but other than that i say get him in first grade.
Zion Maiu’u looks good in the middle too

That miss was an absolute shocker though. I'd rather we stayed patient on him, Vailea and Berry until they have the first grade essentials sorted and absolutely demand selection. We definitely have issues because though Pompey will do a job suited to our game plan, Wiliame despite similar stats didn't look like the answer either. He looked off the pace to me.

I'd rather that the best defensive centres get the spot whilst we embed what we have seen so far.

The games in Pukekohe sold chips and hotdogs, I would think there would be there too. I haven’t seen any place to pay at Pukekohe also for entry and have walked straight in both times, saw a sign saying $13 adults and kids free on a sign but wasn’t sure if that was for counties games.

Yep. #17. Looks fit but hasn't done much apart from giving away a penalty that gave the Bears a piggyback set out of their half and led to a try...

Tahi has been training/playing middles. Caught up with him briefly after last week's game - he was brought in late so didn't get a full preseason either. Has put on some good size, so he probably won't be returning to his centres days any time soon, haha.
Was solid in the middle last week, so good on him for getting a starting spot. Gutted the NSW Cup games aren't all televised. Fox/Kayo doesn't appear to have this game available.
