General Warriors Nicknames!

For a bit of fun (and slight bordem ) I thought I'd give this a run. Obviously some of the Warriors players have their own odd nicknames either given to them by friends/family/teammates..etc. But you as a fan, for each individual player...can you come up with a nickname for them, other than the ones they already have.

A classic example that comes to mind which I heard from LU is for Patrick Ah Van. Some one was talking about the fact he blinks alot so another person has decided he might dub him 'Blinky Ah Van' :lol:

Now it's your job, think of all the players in the current side (injured or not) and think of a suitable nickname for them.

I call Simon Mannering "Captain Mannering" for no real reason, but because I can't think of another nickname for him.

I know he isn't a Warriors, but every time Preston Campbell made a mistake on the weekend, I yelled out to him: "Sir Preston strikes again!" Heh, guess you had to be there...

i call hame lauaki Lauaks lol pronounced Lau-Uks lol .. no reason juss short for Lauaki lol .. Toopi is now known as Toofy! .. lol was at a game and my sister was screaming out Toopi Toopi then this drunk guy started screaming out TOOFY TOOFY TACKLE HIM TOOFY LOL .. so hes now known as Toofy ..

We should make big banners like the ones the dragons fans have e.g i seen one that said 'cooking with gaz'.

So i came up with a couple for our boys

1st the obvious one: 'The price is right'

'Grant our wishes rovelli'
'Manu the tank Vatuvei'
'serve us up a special patty' (patty=patrick ah van lol)

Do you guys think they are lame lol? Do any of you have any others

for me tony martin is marto, tuimavave is tui, hohaia is hiho and vatuvei is beast. theyre nothing original but thats what i call them when watching the game.

The main charactor in the comedy series is played Arthur Lowe. He played the part of Captain George Mainwarring (pronouned Mannering). His son is Stephen Lowe....he lives about 2 to 3 minutes from me

Yeah but Captain Mannering is off Dad's Army. Lol, imagine if Simon Mannering actually does become captain of the Warriors (or any team) one day, then we can call him Captain Mannering.

i call louis anderson "andy" and frank-paul nuuasala "nusi" or "nusa" thats about it realy i come up with nik names wen i watch em play but then i never use em again so i wouldnt say there nik names coz i dont use em all the time

im a blinker like ah van probably worse haha it comes and goes though. has any 1 seen that bloke from the storm he can hardly open his eyes haha. im bein slak its not his fault.

Frank-Paul Nuuasala is at the Roosters now I think, but playing for their Premier League team.
