I don't know if this thread will last, but I thought I'd make a thread where we would list down all the winners of the MoM. This is so that by the end of the year we will know not only who was the best performer this year in our eyes, but who was the most consistently good player too.

Every Wednesday I wil update this thread with the outcome of the MoM poll from the last game. There will basically be two categories: Overall points and most weeks featured. Would have been handy in the Inu years to have watched the trends. It's subjective but that's the whole point hey if enough people vote you get a tangible measure of the Dens mood / fancies through the year.

You do have to bear in mind that he's playing this way while coming off the bench - if he had to spend the first 30 minutes of the match having opposition props or second rowers bashing into him he mightn't bring the same impact to the game.

Not to mention that our starting hooker makes this player look like he is a great on attack in comparison.

I'm from there (the sunken village bro!), and we have an Onerahi rugby team that's still going... not sure how they fare in the comp though sorry.

I know a whole heap of potential players for both rugby and league from the hood here wouldn't play because of gang commitments - always a shame when work gets in the way of your sport eh?

I played for Onerahi from 97 to 2000.Made a final with them at Lowe Walker Stadium against Southern.Pipped us at the post.We had some talented gangsters in our mix too,guess when you choose your path,its up to yourself to change it.Even when they are around positive peeps you can see them having second thoughts sometimes,but it only lasts for the few hours they are with the team.
