General Warriors Membership Thread 2021

Got to feel for the club. They must be doing it really tough. As low as that figure is the worst thing is its made up of $10-35 memberships. No season tickets, corporate boxes or hospitality packages. Add to that to loss of advertising, vendor payments and merch sales at the club store...

You can buy the NZ one. They should offer more options though. Why not just let people nominate a figure???
to be honest, i didnt even look. And the price wasnt the point, $10.00 wont kill me. The point was that for identical value, they offered an increased price to us in australia. Its kinda like your australian you can afford it, and to be honest we really dont care about you anyway so, yeah just pay more.

So i used my voting power to not give em anything. When i go to the game this year, ill support them but the coin i spend will go to the home team, not to them. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Wow, that's low. Not sure my away memberships ticked over this year - I will check on that.

I let mine lapse about the time Mannering retired, here in SE QLD the most I could hope for were 2 games & even that wasn't guaranteed. Enjoyed the meet & greets after the game but the tickets to the games were always shite, tucked into a corner behind the goal line so I basically ended up buying double tickets so I could actually see the game. Hoping to see five games this year which will be a real treat.

I let my paid ticket membership from last year go forward to this season. There was the offer of a refund. Quite a few might have taken it.

Same thing kabkram! Don't use the ticket offer as we always buy our tickets as close to the half way as is posible... Also looking forward to Cowboys v Warriors in their new stadium Queensland Country Bank Stadium. Have been to the old 1300 Smiles Stadium a few times in the past and that was usually quite a hike from the hotel. This venue is a lot closer to the center.... Thanks JT!

The game is the first game on Friday so it's an early flight from Brisbane to make sure we make the game.

Poor job managing the memberships this season at Warriors HQ.
They could have run a $20 season membership, sent a key ring to say thank you and offered a 10% discount for 2022.
Being a member isn’t only about going to the games, it’s about being part of the club on many different levels and making a small contribution for the greater good. We should consistently be sitting around the 15-17000 members every season.

I wonder if the Aussie memberships are abit more cause of the fees they have to pay to change it to $NZ and have it sent over???

It seems as though 2022 is stuffed already.

Maybe time for the club to find a way to keep members involved, not that they have anything else to think about right now.

I rolled over my full 2020 membership, now that will be rolled over to 2022 and probably 2023.

Does anybody know how many sought a refund last season?

Sir Brian Roche said we will need a Covid response team for 5-10 years.

That’s a response team to trace outbreaks… as in we could have random lockdowns for up to 10 years 😳. Will the NRL bring a team to NZ if there is a chance of lockdowns?

The end of life as we know it.

Apparently the Australian clubs are moaning, but what about the Warriors?

This will not just be affecting the NRL.

Memberships are not just about attending games, it’s about engagement and community on many levels especially if you live outside of where games are played. There should always be benefits for members as they are the pillars of the supporters network. I hope the Club can craft something meaningful here.
